Saw this on Rob Wilkersons facebook page. definitely planned out to use more weight and not so much reps
squat 6x2
pause squat 3x5
dumbbell split squats ( I do those they’re not in the workout )
hamstrings 3x10
calves 5x20
I find it interesting that a powerlifter would train calves. Any idea why?

Probably just cares about looks too. I dunno.
Knee and ankle stability… I’m not entirely sure.

I somehow doubt that.

Powerlifters don’t train calves? That is news to me.
yeah just to have like proportional legs, idk why but I do calves and forearms a lot before I leave the gym, just think it looks cool
Yeah haha. Good for overall stability and also is a good dynamic stretch for the whole lower leg.
He also uses this with his high school football players if I’m not mistaken

yup his football players use I think he said he’s got 10 kids deadlifting over 400. Must be nice to have your trainer be one of the strongest guys on earth

Peri-workout nutrition 4 maximum gainz
How much does he weigh? No disrepsect obviously, but he makes Vasily Alexeyev look thin.
To the calves thing: Why not? Has anyone ever made a body part stronger and it hurt progress? Strong is strong.
