I usually eat lunch around 1:00, and have a protein bar around 3:30-4:00. By the time I get home and get to the gym, it’s almost 7:00, which means I’m not having my post workout shake until a little after 8. Any suggestions for a quick (preferably solid) preworkout meal?
Cottage cheese, Peanut butter (all natural). Even still, you aren’t eating enough. Going from 1:00 til 3:30 and only having a protein bar? How does a Bionic Man get by on so few calories? Try a bigger meal at 3:30 as well.
I usually have 16 oz of cottage cheese and some fruit about an hour or two before hitting the gym. Some days, I’ll have a Grow shake. Works for me! And you know Surge hits the spot when I’m done!
