I don’t recall if he powerlifted or did the bodybuilding thing first, but Franco Columbo has to be on this list.

More Franco

One more of Franco
doesn’t matter what he did first he lifted some big numbers in powerlifting. Franco is my inspiration for sure
i have my doubt that columbu really squatted 655 pounds claimed for him never saw a pic of this . any way his powerlifting was done when the sport was in its infancy . he never wore suits wraps . his deadof 750 pounds is great . butr coan pulled 859 pounds at 196 bwt . . . yes franco was strong . but was a bodybuilder mostly . arnie closest friend . is now old
Speaking of SuperTraining TV has anyone seen the recent pics of Mark Bell dieted down, retarded how much mucsle PLer’s can carry dieted down. His back is freakin retarded. Pics are on his blog, can’t remember the namne of it. he hurt himself blowing off a 1080lb squat, so while he’s recovering from injury, he decided to diet down to 242, F’n lean. If someone has time to drag pics over would be awesome.
My vote still goes to Bill Kaz though, even after all my Mark Bell worship.
Surprised Dan Green and Eric Lilliebridge are not mentioned here, both look like complete beasts.
Strong bump ^
But, Dan Green.

franco was a competive lifter mostly who happened to have a mr. olympia physique, deadlifted over 700lbs for reps at under 5’5 and under 190lbs…youtube and the cloud wasn’t around back in the 60s and 70s…a lot of ed coans and other old pl’ing greats feats are’t even saved on camera record

not saying he never ever competed, but can anyone name a comp he did. Never did the worlds never did US nationals, Juniors etc,
maybe he did a Muscle beach comp, with mates watching, but doubt he ever lifted in front of qualified refs with rules, time limits etc
and where did you get the 700 for reps ?? his Bio ??
Jesse Norris - only heard of him recently, but the guy is putting up big numbers in the 198s, is only 19, and carries a ridiculous amount of muscle

YES!!! He is who I was going to say. Honestly, I’m kind of disappointed that no one mentioned him earlier. The guy looks damn good and holds some world records to boot. He is my goal physique.
Dan Green! Dude’s straight bodybuilder status.
