Powerlifters with Best Physique

Stan, Johnnie, and myself  lmao kidding.

The bodybuilding powerlifters take the cake imo.

Bob Packer used to put on a meet with APF called the iron man. It was a powerlifting meet with a bodybuilding pre judge at the end. It was mostly for fun…but the pl was 50% and bodybuilding 50%…so you had to be jacked and strong to win that.

I think it could be a really cool idea if enough guys could fill up some cool competitions.

I’m guessing hard work OR steroids. Both sounds too obvious so it can’t be that.

Efferding has tons of coverage. He trains with super training. I think he’s injured right now, but I can definitely put him up there as the strongest or maybe 2nd/3rd strongest raw powerlifter.

you hear about KK a lot more on this forum - but KK’s total is 100lb off Stan’s

Stan has the highest raw total since PLWatch is keeping rankings. He is not the “2nd/3rd” strongest raw powerlifter - he IS the strongest, and by a wide margin ahead of the 2nd highest total. Also, he is an IFBB pro, so that means he has a jaw-dropping physique.

Don Reinhoudt hit 2,298 in the SHW class without wraps. Jon Cole beat it too, but with wraps. Definitely the strongest in the 275 lbs class though.

joe ladnier was great too . but this guy efferding is great was unknown to me . younger guy .

Ben Rice has a pretty solid physique IMO

Bob Packer still puts on the Iron Man meet with the bodybuilding portion but it is now with the USPA. In fact this December will be the 59th Iron Man competition and will take place in Fresno, CA.

He uses lots of elite strongman exercises it is illegal for powerlifters to do, and hence is disqualified.
