Great squatting, cute cats.
I wish I had good workout partner. Especially one who likes to stir up a bunch of shit in PL forums and who also knows what they are talking about. [/quote]
He does know what he’s talking about. I’ve made significant increases since we’ve been together. Regarding his shit disturbing thread, I didn’t believe him about being 5’3" so I measured him yesterday and sure enough, he is. Turns out I’m taller than I thought too. Clearly I need to squat heavier
The phrase “If you can walk it out, you can squat it” was something he used to push me and help me get past some mental barriers. I’m still not there yet. I’m still too green but it’s coming along. In fact, I’ll watch a lot of videos just to see what people look like on a walk out compared to how I look. Most of mine, I’m practically still skipping out. You can tell when people are reaching their max, their feet look nailed to the floor like gravity is sucking at them.
Its very important to have a great training partner that can push you. However with that being said, at the moment I do not have one, but I have the desire to excel…so far.
Your vids are always such a pleasure to watch. I must admit that I laughed myself silly about your thigh comment on Deb’s thread. Please. Even in a squat suit, your legs look lean and flattering. And that’s saying A LOT.
You are super lucky to have live-in “help.” I have a fab coach, so I’m pretty lucky too.
Regarding the walkouts, mine are super ugly. Yours are pretty damn tidy.
Poor bulldog. Doesn’t understand the snatch talk. Send him to Kimba’s log.

Thanks for the compliment and the laugh. I guess, comparatively I don’t have thick legs but they are much thicker than they were a year ago. My inner thighs do almost touch when I stand with my feet together and not in a squishy fat way either. Because of the way I squat and pull, they grew much more than anything else.
Deadlift
Tonight I used the new suit again. This is my last really heavy day before the meet. I have two more deadlift days but they are substantially lighter.

She does everything herself, program wise. We talk alot about how it works for her and tweak it as necessary. She is becoming a very smart lady when it comes to her training. She is stubborn though. I need that in a lifter. She challenges me to make her better if she cannot do it herself. She is ready for Elite, and more if she want’s it. Being on the cusp is worse than aspiring. She now has to pull it out of her ass.

Video of two lifts at 165. The second one looks weird and crooked but it’s the camera angle. On the first one, my arch looks so tight and my legs are so far back I wanted to make sure my feet were flat. They were good. I’m happy with how my bench is moving up. It’ll never be my big lift but it’s moving.
