The next finisher is…hitting our fingers with a hammer for reps. Ouro goes first.

Yay! I’ve been checking the list every day to see if it’s been updated. I’m so glad you got on. We’ll see you there.

The garage was incredibly hot and humid tonight. My hair was soaking wet by the time we were done. I had the erector shirt on under the squat suit and gear isn’t good in that heat/humidity.
There was no finisher tonight. Frank had to get to work. We were training for about 2 1/2 hours. It takes a long time squatting in a suit and wraps.
2 1/2 hours in this heat with no AC? blah… That shower must have felt god-sent.

God !! I feel your pain. My gerage is a hot box in summer and a deep freeze in winter.

Because Friday was so humid, we decided to make a field trip to a local commercial gym run by another powerlifter. We went to Phoenix Fitness in Ancaster and had a nice catch up with the owner and enjoyed the AC.

275-3 straps down belt on
305-1 straps up
330-2 straps up. I could have pulled this three times but once again my grip crapped out
290-3x3 straps down. I wanted to do 4-5 reps on the last set but on the fourth rep I swung it out from my body and that’s all she wrote.
Zerchers off the pins

What? That she needs another drink? She’s from Québec just like Dianab. I think it’s a way of life like poutine and whatnot.
Holy shit is right. That’s a big Zercher. Where were the pins set?
We were working off of the 3ed hole in the rack, and the first one sucked so she did it again.
She is one crazy Giraffe.

Nice!

When we do them off the pins, we don’t go super deep. It’s more just to break them off the pins as assistance for deads. This youtube clip is from some we did in the spring: zerchers off pins 225 - YouTube
When we do them off the rack, we go a lot deeper and lighter like this: zerchers multiples - YouTube
Great training.Isn’t that like 2.5 times your BW.I get poutine every time I get up to the Montreal/Quebec area.Good stuff.
Great work. Thanks for the vids.

No you knucklehead, the 275 Zercher. Obviously you’ve had a few drinks too.

I find drinking makes Frank’s finishers both more tolerable and vomitous at the same time. You should try it ![]()
