I’m taking his side. Out of the mother sauces, Mayonnaise should replace hollandaise.

And I’ll take it a step further - miracle whip is better than mayonnaise.

I figured that’s why you conquered the world - just wanted some decent food. And tan women.

The Irish have good cuisine, but it’s still a fucking mystery to me why an island doesn’t have decent seafood.

I was going to suggest that there might not be good fish in those waters, but Iceland has good seafood and I don’t think Ireland has worse fish.

Scotland has some of the best salmon I’ve had

Brown crabs, trout, atlantic mackerel, mussels, crayfish…
the bad seafood cookery is a skills issue IMO
