šŸ”„ Post Your Hot Takes... Even the Oddly Specific Ones

I’m not sure why you replied to me, or criticized my looks. I suspect you pressed a wrong button.

Cheers.

There are some studies, as usual conflicting information, but here’s a link to an article from a TRT provider.

Ackchually… haha. But there are very real negative consequences females experience as a result of high body counts

Its the balance of energy

People that stare at their phone religiously while walking out in public…their face is just glued to the damn thing.

I’m convinced they have low cognitive ability and reaction speed.

Yep. Secretly I want to see them get plowed by a bus or old lady behind the wheel of an 85 Cadillac

Give someone a phone and watch any sense of etiquette or self-preservation evaporate. Cretins

Highly, oddly, specific LOL. An actual experience from your cop days?

Having read some criticism of Dr. Mike Israetel on some random threads here on TN, just came to say that I just heard Dave Tate mention in his Table Talk series that Dr. Mike scored the highest ever on Tate’s how to rank a coach test.

Haha…no. But always imagined it. I just greatly dislike stupid people.

That’s probably a result of the great education he got at East Tennessee State University.

Hot Take:
BCAAs taken before bed truly do help with DOMS. Probably EAAs too, but I feel like BCAAs get lambasted too much on social by people who sell EAA supplements.

I think that objectively speaking…properly dosed EAA are superior to BCAA, no ?

I went to school in Cleveland TN, and can happily comment on what passes for education in that shithole.

I think you’re right but BCAAs help given that I get the rest of those EAAs from my diet.

Then you should have sufficient BCAA I think. I used to mega dose peri workout via Poliquin’s suggestion… up to 40 grams. Zero net results but tasty flavored water

That’s why it’s the hot takes thread. lol.

That’s cool to know.

I’d seen people talking about how BCAAs didn’t do anything, and also Poliquin’s response that they weren’t taking enough. But never heard from anyone who took those big doses so I could never be sure.

I did it consistently… 40 grams of Xtend. Drained my wallet. Zero noticeable benefits. Any ā€˜benefit’ might’ve just been the BCAA conversion to glucose

HAHAH… indeed. I’d never suggest BCAA anymore
