Post workout protein intake

In T-Mag issue #110, Cy Willson explains why post workout protein intake is so important (The Protein Conspiracy article.) My question is at what ratio should you consume protein on non-workout days. Cy suggests 50% protein after a workout, and then spread the rest over 3 or 4 meals that day. Since I workout in the evening, should I continue to use this ratio on non-workout days, or does it not really make a difference. Thanks.

On non-training days, I would go with around a 30% intake for both breakfast and before going to bed. Then, spread the rest out over 2-3 more meals. For instance, I personally have around 90 grams in the morning and before going to bed. Then, for 3 other meals, I’ll have right around 40 grams of protein. Hope this helps.

I have a question about the protein theory. Are you consuming the same amount of protein on workout and non workout days?? I personally consume the same amount on both days but on workout days I’ll add a post workout shake with about 65 grams of protein. I’m always looking for any new tips. Thanks
