Posing Routine Song

Hello T-brothers,
I am 4 weeks out from my first show. It will be a classic physique competition. I have to put together a 60 sec routine that incorporates the following 5 mandatories:

I would like to welcome any suggestions you guys may have for songs. Something with prominent beats, preferably no lyrics, but if there are lyrics something empowering.

Another thing I was contemplating was something from the 50s-60s to pay homage to the era this division is modeled after.

Thanks in advance!

I feel like this is awesome to pose to

for no lyrics try searching youtube for some dubstep tracks till you find a beat that you like.

otherwise i think this is a sick one

Work Hustle Kill (lost soul mix)-rob bailey

i have this edited into a 60 second routine already if youre interested

also if you want enything edited to 60 seconds just holler at me, im fairly slick with audio editing programs (music major)

lemme know

Classic and timeless like the physique you are trying to display!

Ennio Morricone - Ecstasy of Gold (The Good, the Bad, the Ugly theme song)?? Perhaps not what you are looking for and might be tough to condense to 60 secs but it defiantly has a classical ‘epicness’ to it

I would also recommend this one. I would use metallica’s cover version though. It’s definitely worth a glance.

I always figure it’s a good idea to pick a track that means something to you. Preferably something that will put you in the right mood for strutting around onstage, but also something that’s simple, if you plan to hit certain stances, or poses at key points. When I competed in my first show, I went with something that had a steady beat, not too fast, but that if I got confused, wouldn’t really throw me off.

Thanks for the advice. This is my first show, but luckily I have a dance background and have choreographed before.

I’m sure that will help quite a bit. I can’t dance at all, so being nervous as I was, I tried to plan to be in specific poses at specific points in the song. It actually gave me a nice structure to work with.

At this point I think I have a winner and I’m gonna work with this:

This.

^maybe if I had Kai’s glutes.

LOL

OK, well if you’re not going to use my song choice can you at least promise me that you will incorporate this move somewhere in your routine?
