I would recommend either Hdt Fiber-Psyll Powder or Twinlab Fibersol (power or capsules).
With the Hdt Fiber-Psyll, it doesn’t have too bad of a taste to it and has 30 servings per container, 12 grams of fiber per serving, for about $13. It has a “lime” flavor, but pretty much just knocks out most of the shitty fiber flavor and keeps the drink smoother going down.
The Twinlab Fibersol is also pretty good. Depends on if you prefer taking pills or making a drink for which one you get. Both the pills and powder have 4 grams of fiber per serving. The pills will run you about $9 for 40 servings and the powder is about $10 for a 10oz container w/ each serving being “1 rounded teaspoon” (you do the math for that one).
In my opinion, the Hdt Fiber-Psyll is the better choice. I’m really not a big pill person myself, so having to down 5 pills to get 4 grams of fiber when i can just easily drink a powder mix doesn’t appeal to me. And with the Hdt powder, it seems like you get more grams of fiber per package.
I’ve only used metamucil.
