Poliquin's Overtraining Method

Just curious if this would be a good thing to try, due to my circumstances the next 2 weeks…

I have no work the next 2 weeks, so essentially i could sleep like 10 hours a day, wake up eat, lift, come back nap, massage, chill, lift, come home, sleep again.

Money isn’t a problem with bulk supplements/food either.

Right now I’m on New rules of lifting hypertrophy 2 program, but might consider taking a break from it for the next 2 weeks to try this, just since it’s rare that i’ll ever get 2 weeks totally off from everything.

Should I?

why not?

go for it, i gained 9ibs and inch all over me plus great strength gains(gained 77ibs on my close grip bench in 19days!!)

I would only do this as a last resort and maybe not then. Unless your diet is perfect and you just can’t make any more progress, I wouldn’t try it. There are much more tolerable ways to make gains.

Why make overtrain and make your self feel like shit when you don’t have to. Personally I hate being over trained. You can’t sleep, and your irritable, depressed, and stressed out. No thank you there are plenty of other effective ways to train.

BTW with all that overtraining I don’t think your going to sleep that much.

If i were you, i’D go for it!!!

GOGOGO!!!

Come back with the results in 2 weeks!!

Then again it might be worth it.

i overtrain as much as possible, however, i enjoy training as much and as often as possible. So it depends on your enthusiasm for going to the gym. Obviously this will give you a big jump start to head back into your program.

Also, i have never not had a night of great sleep off of two-a-days.

Please see the thread “Training Til Depressed: Results”.

Several of us tried Poliquin’s Super Accumulation Program and recorded our results, etc.

You lucky bastard!
do it man
do it for those that can’t
do it for those that won’t
do it and let us know what progress you made…

Solid

Do it. An opportunity like this doesn’t come very often. Besides, it will teach you mental toughness, something that other training programs don’t offer as much.
