Poliquin Bio-signature

Adding a tiny bit of full fat cream to my coffee is a God send, helps with my hunger and keep insulin low.

Yeah Ive been staying away from tap for a long time. Except the run in with showers and wetting my tooth brush. And I live in a town that had a nuclear leak not too long ago but how bad can that be right???..

Actually no one has been able to pin point the cause of “the disappearing male.” We haven’t actually been able to nail down why the steady decline in T levels among males throughout the last 50 years. In reality we could start an extremely long list…and a lot of it would be backed by the FDA or other organizations…and involve several lobbyists…and it would be difficult to cut that list down to nothing.

Could you imagine how good the food must have tasted prior to the industrialization of food ?

Before chemicals, how good the produce and animal flesh must have tasted ?

To be able to bathe in completely clean and fresh water ? Damn.

What is this “eden” you speak of???

No place to inhabit the Earth recently.

I meant before the times of chemicals, pollution, and man-made fuckery.

lost my job, so im training in different placed now. Extremely sad, but gotta keep going…

Sorry to hear about the job. Good luck finding a new one.

bummer. That place was sweet.

I just noticed, do you deadlift in your romaleos? I’m getting a pair for Christmas can’t wait.

had my first squat workout with the nike romaleos 2 yesterday. Its literally like night and day from squatting in regular shoes. Feels like my feet are glued to the floor.

no videos right now, but im currently on a high frequency phase where 5 days/week i do some sort of squat, some sort of overhead press and some sort of dead-lift variation with low volume.

ill ramp up the intensity until im going to max each day on the last week, then ill take 5 days off, then test my 2rms, then take another 5 days off and then test my 1rms.

Hoping to hit 405 squat, 200 military press, and dead-lift at least 500. all at 190-195

Im trying to figure out if i can at least train where I used to work so i can still train with my friends once in a while. Im really hoping

Hey guys. Started reading this thread a while ago and it got me very interested. The last 2 years have probably been the hardest of my life and its taken a toll on my health pretty hard. Two years ago i lost my mother to suicide and at the same time lost my job and lost my drivers license and then also due to my mothers will complications, i lost my home aswell. Its pretty much taken 2 years to put my life back on track, im not there just yet however its alot better than it used to be.

Anyway due to extreeme stress levels, my hormone toxicity has just been off the charts so ive started seeing a biosignature practitioner to help me get myself back to the reasonably fit person i used to be.

My first biosig results were 17/12/13

Chin 13.4
Cheek 8.6
Pec 14
Tricep 24.4
S-scap 26
Midax 12.6
Supra 28.8
Umbil 29.4
Knee 8.8
Calf 25.6
Quad 25
Hamstring 29.4
Body Fat 25.1%

So as you can see the results are fucking terrible as i knew they would be. Im annoyed that i started just around the christmas period as my whole routine has been completely whacked. Ill be honest i have trained about once and the diet hasnt been bad but not overly great.

The protocol i went on for the last two weeks
HCL 3 x 3/Day
Mag 5 x 2/Day
Fish Oil 5 x 3/Day
Dim 3 x 1/Day
Multi 2 x 3/Day
Probiotic 2 x 3/Day
Zinc 3 x 3/Day (however hasnt been available until today so thats being added in today)
D3 6 X 2/Week

Measurements after two weeks are 31/12/13

Chin 9.2
Cheek 13
Pec 12.2
Tricep 21.2
S-Scap 21.2
Midax 12.8
Supra 24.8
Umbil 29.8
Knee 8
Calf 25.4
Quad 23.6
Hamstring 25.6
Body Fat : Unknown (waiting for results)

2 Weeks ago the measurements totalled 246
Today they total 226.8
The result is a net drop of 19.2 or 8.47% so overall im pretty happy considering the diet and training activity of the last two weeks.

As of today i start my German Body Composition Program so i would expect to see atleast a similar drop in measurements in a few weeks time. ill be sure to keep everyone posted on the results

I also want to acknowledge tork in making a really interesting and informative thread. It has inspired me and given me belief that i can get back to 10% BF like i once was. Looking forward to the next few months. As for now im off to the gym

Results were first week 25.4% and after two weeks down to 24%. Overall im pretty happy with that. If i keep coming down around a rate of 0.7% per week about 3-4 months i should be almost at my 10% goal.

nice work man, hearing about your situation really makes me feel like a pussy for being so up-set about mine… Really motivating to hear your story and how you want to make improvements so bad after such a terrible past year or so.

I will say right now, that your results will not be linear and i dont think there is anyway that you will get from 25 to 10% in only 3-4 months, unless MAYBE you are able to train full time and budget is not object.

Just keep pushing and it will come, but dont expect that 15% drop in that period of time or ill almost guarantee that you will be disappointed.

Best of luck and thanks again for sharing your story.

thanks for your input tork. realistically if i could hit 15-16% in that sort of time id be pretty wrapped, but for now the first goal is just to get under 20%. Ill have another biosig in 2 weeks so ill be sure to keep updating everyone in this thread.

Feeling pretty sore from the German Body Comp workout that i had yesterday, thats a real killer.

Went in for a training session with my biosig guy. i dont have a full measurement for another 8 days however he just measured my top 3 priority sites, so i just got those three done to make sure im on track. after 6 days,
pec went from 12.2 - 12.0
umbil went from 29.8 - 28.0
Calf went from 25.4 - 24.2

Pretty stoked after 6 days with that effort. will post up the full measurements in another 8 days time

feeling pretty strong at 193, goals are 405 and 500 in a few more weeks

Little up-date about my life.

Im currently doing a practicum with the Canadian Sports Institute in Calgary for a few months and I’m hopeful that I get a position out of it, even if its just part time to start. This would be awesome as its probably the best training facility in Canada and one of the best in the world, and focuses primarily on athletes from youth to Olympic level.

I have also been in contact with Andre Benoit (PICP level 5) who ran the PICP courses for Charles Poliquin. He has opened up a small facility just out side my city. I will be working and mentoring under him for a while and might be able to get PICP certified under himself.

Things are looking up, now i just need a way to pay the bills…

Is there any Biosig method to determine adrenal fatigue ?
