I’m rolling with .5 X 29G 1/2CC pin. This was recommended by someone experienced with IGF and going right in the mus.

Insulin needles work just fine, no need to go larger. Plus you will find that you are working with very small amounts and the 1/2cc barrell is better for measuring.
