Not sure, sorry. I think it’s in editing now.

=(

If you had to guess…would you say mayhaps around mid Jan-mid Feb or much later?

I was really wanting to do this, but don’t want to without having the info on the 2wk transitional period.

I dont know if its the fat in front of his pecs doing it, but it looks like he has a monster chest hiding there. This will be very interesting to see in 6 or 7 weeks time.

From a guy who has done it a few times I’ll give my top 3 tips:

-The daily walks are a must! They might not seem like much, but I’ve the V-Diet and other diets with and without them and without a shadow of a doubt they help rip the fat off.

-Week 2 is hell. Know this and be ready. Week 1 is actually kinda cool, week 3 is easy, week 4 is EASY because you have established new habits… but something about week 2 is just killer.

-Train like a mad man. Preserve that muscle and get that metabolism going! This will be instrumental in success.

Thanks Qaash, I’m excited about this awesome opportunity!

I’d say later than Jan or Feb.

I believe I posted the new transition info somewhere here on T-Nation or MWA… hmmm. Not sure where. I’ll PM it to you.

Chris, just curious… If we didnt get a rejection PM, does that mean we could still be in the running for later Physique Clinics ?

Best of luck ripping him to shreds…and i mean that in the most encouraging way.

Hope it isn’t too late to submit, I just came across this thread yesterday.

My ap is in. Pick me, I’m a nose! And a double chin… :expressionless:

Yes, you are still in the running for future Clinics.

I have chosen someone for the V-Diet Clinic, but we are always accepting for the regular Physique Clinic.

Chris-

An earlier post you mentioned the person chosen for your clinic was going to follow a training program outlined by Chad Waterbury. Is there any chance that workout will be posted (or alternatively viewed some other way, by link perhaps) for the many of us who will be starting the V-Diet on our own?

Yes, you’ll be able to see it as he logs his training in the Clinic… or at least the part he’s doing. Chad actually wrote several programs for the book based on the dieter’s training age / experience level. Gus will be using the advanced program.

Awesome, thanks.

I’ll be starting the day after Christmas and will take pictures each week (as well as take measurements) and report back to this post. Thanks again Chris.

So you’re not putting 5 people through the V-Diet clinic? Just one?

Wow, he’s going to look amazing afterwards!

I feel a pang of jealously. Even though I applied I knew I had probably 15lbs more than 28 days of V-Diet could offer before you could see me at opitmal results.

Luckily, no PMs, so I hope I’ll get picked eventually for another clinic.

Just some tips, for me day 3-4 was hell craving wise. Then week 3, but only because I began to feel very tired. Don’t over do “cardio”, you will most likely be told to keep it to walking. Anything beyond that will stall you out. Also, be ready for around week 3 for people to begin giving you tons of comments. When they ask how you did it they then say it “isn’t possible”.

You have a team of people I didn’t have available to help you through these problems. You can do it!

Just one… for now. We’ll see about the future. Not sure yet.

It seems advantageous to run 3 - 5 people through the V-Diet Clinic just so there is no doubt that it works(details as to why below). Dont get me wrong, there are plenty of accounts of it working and there is no doubt that it does, but having an article about it later down the road will be served well by having a larger sample of people who have been put through it exactly as outlined.

As far as why it would be beneficial to have more than one person, it ups the sample size and it adds some uniformity to the tracking. This way you get to track the progress daily with standardized pictures and measurements. I dont believe I’ve really seen anything like that in the forums.

Chris,
you guys still looking for canidates for the Physique Clinic? I see there is only four under the “top ten”. Obviously I haven’t been picked yet but I was wondering if I could send you some progress pics to go with my app. My diet has been strong and I’ve been putting in the work. Very obvious in my latest photos. Would this help me get chosen?

We may eventually do more, but I want one at a time right now so I can focus on him.

You can PM them to me. It’s kind of a pain in the butt though.

[smiley face all that]
