Physique Clinic Open!

musclez99, your avatar makes me dizzy, but it’s cool anyways.

Oh yeah, I’m really posting b’coz I am a Canadian and get Biotest delivered to my door, from this site, no problems. And all the products are available here thru re-sellers anyways. It’s too bad we are being excluded on these grounds.

I wondered how Bizarre is able to do 8 reps resting only 10 seconds after get 8 reps to failure…

Hey man thanks for the well wishes and thanks for following along!

This is such an awesome way to give back to the members on this site! And at the same time show off at how well their supplements can work. I really hope none of these lucky contestants dont lose steam and give up.

Oh and Thib and Shug, how long do you plan on coaching them? Since they don’t have any numerical goals i.e. “I want to be 8% body fat” or “I want to get my power lifting total over 2000” When will you decide that they have reached your expectations?

FYI I was one of those 50 applicants who submitted on Sunday. I was always thinking of signing up for this and I guess after reading all the info it got me really psyched up and finally motivated me to take some pics and type a backstory to submit(It sure is hard to take a good quality picture of your backside in a mirror!)

Oh and Novagreg I’ll be following your workouts and diets closely since you have the closest body type to me. Dont let me down!

Shug, you say you keep getting applications and also that if you don’t get a response that you’re still being considered. With that said, how many are you still considering? Do you turn away say 90% of them? More/less?

Non US residents…damn

I wish I could apply, unfortunately living in China makes it pretty much impossible for me to go to a suitable gym and buy the necessary food, and they’d have to ship the supplements to me overseas.

I hope they hold this again sometime.

Hi:

Sorry for bothering Physique Clinic’s counselors on this one, but I can’t avoid it.

On Physique Clinic’s FAQ it says that you can accept only US residents due to supplements retention.

Some friends in Mexico have brought us supplements several times, so this is not a problem (at least from US to Mexico).

What’s your opinion on this situation?

And I was one of them! Can’t wait for the next round. Been lurking on this site for about 4-6months and finally registered 3wks ago. Got some great advice on here from the other members already.

New feature added!

At the top and bottom of each Physique Clinic participant threads, you will find a new icon entitled “Discuss This PC.” This will allow other users to discuss the progress and express opinions of each of the Clinics.

These discussion threads will be placed in the Bodybulding forum on TMAGNUM.

Please note that our counselors do not have time to answer every question in regards to how “this workout” or “that diet” would apply to those that post in these discussions. They are busy enough taking care of the participants’ needs. That is the benefit of the Physique Clinic, after all.

It occurred to me, and probably to you guys too, that it might be a good idea to expand this to include more coaches and ones of varying schools of thought. It would give them a chance to showcase their methods and would be good for business.

Somebody already a Waterbury fan would be well matched to him for instance.

Powerlifting guys for powerlifting coaches, bodybuilding guys for bodybuilding coaches and so on.

Not every coach is going to be able to devote the time obviously and there may other reasons I don’t know about that make this untenable, but just thinkin out loud.

Hi:

I was wondering if someone could give an answer to the question I made 2 days ago.

Thanks in advance.

The current rule put in place by Biotest is US residents only. It will remain that way until Tim Patterson says otherwise.

How long do the clinics go on for?

Until one reaches their goal or do they have a time set?

What if you signed up and feel you could of added more info. Can you resubmit or just hope for the best…

Not at this time. Basically, you need to do a good job the first time.

We are playing that by ear for now.

But for the V-Diet Clinic, my guy will go for 6 weeks: 4 weeks of diet, about 2 weeks of transition.

Why is everyone you picked under 30? Are you going to have some decade variance here or do you need to be under 29??

Hey Chris, I noticed that the ones choosen so far are in there 20’s I am a very young looking 53 year old in great athletic shape. will I qualify???

We accept all ages and conditions. In fact, we’d like to eventually cover many categories: “old” guy, young guy, fat guy, skinny guy, athletic guy, first bodybuilding contest guy, wheelchair guy, etc.

OK, so now I see.
