Physique Clinic discussion for USCTrojan619

I see that CT and CS are giving you some Alpha Male. Please let us know how you feel after taking that sup.

Good luck, and show everyone here what we ectos are capable of!

Of all the Clinics this one interests me the most. Probably because being the typical self centered human being that I am it most closely matches my own life. I started training the first time when I was 27 years old. I was 7 inches taller than you and weighed ten pounds more. You have significantly more muscle than I did as hard as you may find that to believe. Do us stick people proud bro. There’s a much bigger you clawing to get out.

This is great…I never knew what my body type was, but looks like I am an Ecto as well.

The candidate and I are the exact same height/weight/build. Well, I am carrying slightly more fat, but otherwise identical.

I, too, am curious about the Alpha Male. I actually purchased a bottle of it myself in my last order but have yet to use it.

Going to be tested for adrenal fatigue, as Spike (tab or Shooter) and Power Drive don’t seem to affect me right now, neither do any caffeine products in general and that has me concerned.

Its great to see you so geared up and excited. You’re gonna wreck this thing!

good luck !
u got the support of all the ectos on T-Nation lol

Alpha Male is probably what i would call my secret weapon. i use it very sparingly but i still see results… the most blatant result, my girl comments on how ‘hard’ it is. and some other stuff but you get the idea. oh yea, and there is the strength part. i was shocked at how strong i felt doing lifts like the standing military press. and this was after a month off from lifting.

dont be like me
work out hard while takin it and you should be shocked at the results also. and no i dont work for Biotest lol

Nice, you made it! Grats!

Now that I see your pictures, we do have similar physiques. I am going to follow along with you, so be sure to post a lot and include lots of feedback!

Also, definitely ask questions too. A bunch of us will be doing the same workouts you are, eating the same foods, and feeling the same pain, so we can and should bleed together.

As an ecto, let me just say congrats on making it and I hope to see good things!

Hey bro,

Welcome aboard. Look forward to seeing your progress. As far as I’m concerned, all of us taking part in the Physique Clinic have come to kick ass, and chew bubble gum. We’re all out of bubble gum…

You know there is one thing I can’t figure out is why T-Nation decided to start this Physique Clinic now, right before the holidays? I am just thinking out loud, but the timing seems rather odd. I would have thought they would start it after the new year.
Yeah, who knows. But I don’t mind at all. I was already planning on starting my own clinic using bizarre’s Physique Clinic as a model starting next week anyway.

Plus, since they had started at the end of November, I’m sure a bunch of people were dying for the next ecto to be picked after bizarre had to leave. I know I was.

Enjoy your whiskey!

I’m an endo so I’m the exact opposite of you, but I still like to see how the other side trains. Looking at your photos, I can tell that you were able to add some muscle to your upper back, traps, and legs. These will be your strong points, and these are good strong points to have. Chest, arms, and shoulders will need work. But you have lots of potential here and your transformation will be very interesting to watch. Good luck, man.
Hey, thanks for noticing! Haha! All I know is, I lost a lot after I let my diet and workouts slip. Good to hear that I have something going for me from someone else. I have a LONG way to go though.

After reading some of your posts on bizarre’s forum, for some reason i got a feeling that you’re gonna be picked next!!! So just wanted to wish you good luck ;o)
Thanks! Yeah, if you couldn’t tell, I was determined to figure out the diet, supplementation, and workouts they had laid out for bizarre.

Stay tuned. I’ll keep both threads updated as much as possible. I know how it is to be the guy/gal on the outside looking in trying to figure out these programs, and I want to help out in any way I can.

I was thrown for a loop myself when I saw what was being sent my way. I’ve NEVER used anything like it before (just the regular protein, creatine, and I even tried that NO crap), so I wouldn’t know what to compare it to, but I’ll do my best to describe how it affects me.

:open_mouth: <— Supposed to be an amazed face! Haha!

That sounds awesome. Another guy was asking how it would make me feel. I guess this kind of answers his question. I’ll compare it with how I feel once I start supplementing with it.

Thanks for the tip. I’ll workout harder than I ever have.

I’m glad I fit the mold of who you all thought should be the ecto for this PC. I’m still pretty shellshocked about being picked by Coaches Thibs and Shugs. I’m grateful, and will not take this HUGE opportunity for granted.

I also understand that I’m in a pretty tough position already being behind, and the stigma associated with the ecto portion of this Physique Clinic program. But with my work ethic, the help of the coaches, and the support of all my fellow ectos reading this, I know I can do this.

So far, you guys know everything I do:

*I will be sending Coach Thibs what I’ve been eating for the next 3 days (today being the first). Then, he’ll design my diet and workout plans.

*The plans will be sent to me on Monday, the 24th (Merry Christmas to me!).

*I start the program on the 26th. By this time, I should have the supplements in hand with Biotest’s outstanding shipping.

Until then, I thought I’d let you guys know a little about me:

I’ve always been skinny all my life. I’m assuming that my metabolism has slowed down now that I’m older because I can no longer eat like shit (In-N-Out Double Double anyone?) and still not gain any fat (e.g. my small spare tire in the pics).

I’ve lifted weights since I got out of high school, but it has always been on and off, and never with a definite program to follow.

The closest I’ve come to anything like this PC was trying to follow Dr. Berardi’s “Scrawny to Brawny” for about 3 months. I ate like a damn monster and did nothing but compound exercises, and I believe I made it to 167lbs (starting from 135lbs). I did gain a lot of fat as well, but a lot more mass overall compared to now. I probably needed to tweak my diet, but didn’t have the knowledge to know what the fuck I was doing.

From reading this forum now for the past month or so, I realize I’m on the very bottom of the totem pole. I don’t think I’m very strong (at least at the moment) because I’ve been away from a “REAL” weightlifting routine for some time. I think at the end of S2B program, my 1RM for bench press was 200 or 205 (which I guess isn’t too bad for a 167lb guy), and with my skinny legs, just doing compound leg exercises killed me.

Again, that was months ago (Jan-Mar of this year). Since then, I’ve tried to throw around the dumbbells in my crappy apartment “gym”, that way I don’t completely embarass myself when I got back into a real gym.

Coaches Thibs and Shugs are literally starting with a blank slate, both in the strength and mass department. But, that’s what I’m here for. Have a good night, and if you have any questions, post here or PM me.

i love your enthusiasm already!!!

i have a feelin your before and after photos are gonna be friggin sickkkkkkkkk

make sure you update us with tons of photos and your progress.

As much as I don’t want to have to torture you guys with pictures of me, I’ll do it!

My pics above were pretty crappy because I had to use an ancient digicam that doesn’t have a timer and it was difficult trying to get the angles just right on the mirror, but it still works. My wife has our good one, and I should have that one back by the middle of January.

Have a good one!

Congratulations and go hard mate!

Hell of an opportunity and you’ve already got loads of supps to help.

Hey bro! I’m glad an ecto was finally picked… seemed like 2 weeks passed, so I decided to try something myself too. I ordered Waterbury’s book (“Muscle Revolution”) which was a great guide to make sure I understood the basics (which I didn’t and I highly recommend you make sure you cover your basics). The problem, however, was that it didn’t have anything on ectos or body types! So this is my last hope as I train very hard but it ain’t working very quickly (.25 a pound gain per week).

I am really happy you don’t have a keg in the background like that dropout bizarre… college has a lot of temptations, so make sure your diet doesn’t include beer. I’m an ecto and I drank beer in college. I gained 20 pounds and it formed a tire (just like yours). I’ve been on super strict T-Nation documented diets for 4+ months eating 3-4.5K calories a day, 300+g protein, w/ your exact build and haven’t cheated since I started. I hope you can challenge yourself to not cheat. Coach CT said that he went 18 months w/o cheating on another PC post… are you going to try to man up and last 18 months? I sure hope so because I’m counting on you to show me what I am doing wrong.

Good luck, eat more and no beer!

Ecto fo’ life Biotch!!! Ecto crew what!

Ecto’s represent. Throwin it down ecto styllllle.
