Congrats, man-- Just amazing. You definitely put in the effort and had the passion to meet your goal!!
Great job!!!

Thank you SD! I gave this clinic everything I had and stayed the course. I’m happy about how everything turned out and hope that the next round of PC participants put their heart into the training and take it seriously. The results are so worth it!
Thank you again SteelyD, your support & encouragement has just been so great and motivating to me!

I’ve been trying to think of something clever to say but I got nothing. So instead I’m going to write something that’s going to sound kind of gay but oh well. The best feature in your after picture is the smile on your face. I can tell that it’s genuine. You are obviously and genuinely very happy with yourself, and well you should be. That’s probably the best thing you got out of this clinic.
Okay, now I need to go buy some power tools.
Ha ha, thank you Mike! Nothing ghey about it Bro! I’m happy in those pics and my wife was trying to make me smile more too!
Take care Mike and much success to your training endeavors!
Now we are talking Gus, you look awesome. Ridiculous V-taper, nice full arms with veins, and the 6-pack… Everything you’ve done has paid off huge.
Congrats… You have joined an elite club of people who have set a goal and busted their ass to acheive it. Be proud.
Thank you Lonnie! I’m happy with what I’ve achieved but I’m not satisfied and am already looking at my next set of goals! Gotta keep the momentum going and reach for more. That’s one of the cool things with bodybuilding, there is always another level you can take your physique to!
Take care my friend!
Exactly. This kind of attitude is what separates the successful from the people who only acheive the minimum. You will go far in both bodybuilding and life with this philosophy.
HOLY SHIT, NICE WORK! Not only are you the OLDEST out of everyone in the PC, but you look younger in comparison to some of the other members and have made the BEST progress. My hats off to you and I hope you continue to keep improving. CONGRATS again! The V taper you got now is mind blowing to what you use to look like!

WOW Gus those final pics are off the charts!
Thibs is so right - your upper and lower torso look like they are from different bodies.
I am sad to see your PC go but am excited to see the next round of transformations.
Keep us posted.
Ed
Thanks again Ed! I want to see how wide I can get my back and delts developed. I might as well blow up those bodyparts since they progress well. I figure for natural bodybuilders, we should just blow up whatever we have that is our favorite bodyparts(fastest growing)! Might as well make them look freaky and big!
Take care Ed and I’ll see about putting up a training log

Gus, congrats. Do people even recognize you anymore? You really look like a different person lol.
I usually get this, “Oh Sh*t Dude, you lost hella weight! Are you sick!?” Then I have to explain that I trained to get lean which some people don’t believe. Oh well, I know what I accomplished and I worked hard for my results. Nothing can take that away from me!

Followed your progress right through the PC gusta and wow, excellent job mate!!!
What are you planning to do now training and diet-wise, post PC?
Thanks BB77! I plan on training heavier, keep a low-carb strict diet and make the grooves in my abs a little deeper!
My condition is not hard to maintain since I’m used to eating clean so I’m staying lean for the summer and getting back to some lower rep, heavier weights! I still like to push weights like when I was bloated.

Haha, I’m not at your level of leanness (yet!) but after the initial V-Diet loss one of the guys are Jiu Jitsu asked my mate if I was okay. He thought I had cancer or something equally serious

Thanks Rock! I get a lot of “you don’t look 37!” compliments now! It is pretty cool to hear.
I’m looking forward to watching the next round of the Physique Clinic. I hope they take this seriously like I did and make better progress than me. This is what it’s all about, constantly improving no matter what.
Thanks again for the kind words Rock and take care!

Gus, congratulations and great job! It’s hard not to be inspired by the progress you’ve made over the last few months.
Where were your outdoor pictures taken? I’m in East Bay myself. I grew up in Fremont, but live in Dublin now.
Thank you AV! I took the pictures up at Mission Peak in Fremont.
I knew it looked familiar! These days I tend to hike Pleasanton Ridge more. It’s a nice, steep uphill walk.
Anyway, take care and if I ever see you around I’ll be sure to say hi.
Gus man, you’ve been the catalyst for my own physique transformation this year. Not since the old Bill Phillips-MM2K days and Body For Life have I followed this stuff so closely…and it’s good to know you’re all natural (something they couldn’t say)!
Do us all a favor and start a Gus-Blog somewhere or something as a lot of us can relate to your age, old-school knowledge, and desire to fight your “natural” self.
Thanks for taking us on the journey Gus and I wish you much more success!
