Aw thanks! lol I feel like an idiot for not owning any gloves!

Keep it up man, youre doing a great job, and im learning a ton from following your progress.

Are you dragging that bag, putting it on your back, or just hoisting it up in front of you ?

Also, have you decided if youre gonna go for a strongman competition or a bodybuilding show as you main goal at the end of all this ?

Keep it up, CrewPierce. A very useful and interesting thread, a ton of things to learn from it.

haha good job in the snow today man! I was uncomfortable doing tire flips today because it was 50 outside!

Haha I’m not really sure about which one to do man. My main goal is to prove to people that you don’t have to be fat looking to be strong.

As far as the bag goes, I grab it and more or less deadlift it up to my waist, and then I toss it up on my chest and bear hug it.

I’m glad to hear you are getting something out of my log!

Crewpierce,

First, I’d like to try and help you out. I’ve been following you and bizare closely. You seem a lot like myself in that you can eat just about anything. But, if you can improve taste, why the hell not, right? Anyways, I know a good way to make the shrimp very tasty. First buy shrimp with the shell on and uncooked, these carry the freshest and best flavor. I drizzle a pan with olive oil, add some chili flakes, and a clove of garlic ran through a garlic press. I put this on low/med-low heat and then lay the shrimp in the pan. Sear one side of the shrimp lightly, sear the other, and you have some very tasty shrimp. A lot of the oil will be picked up by the shell, so I would dip the shrimp in the macadamian nut oil or just take it as a shot because I don’t think you can count too much of the olive oil you cook with.

Second, I have a couple quick questions for you. Do you buy your chicken breasts fresh or frozen. If fresh, do you freeze them later. How do you season them, cook them, and then how far in advance do you prepare them? I’m working on a recipe now where I soften onions and celery and I take 4-8 chicken breasts add cover them with the onion celery mixture and add some chicken broth and cook all of them in a casserole dish. I’ll let you know how it goes. I can eat just about anything except a plain chicken breast, even moist they are hard for me to down. I have a turkey farm by me and they make the best deli meat. I just bought 4 lbs and have been rolling it up and eating it plain while I try to figure a way to cook the chicken breasts. Maybe you have a good way figured out.

Hey Tinman thanks for the shrimp idea! I will def. give that a go!

As far as the chicken goes, I buy them fresh. I’ll buy about 6 at a time and season them with Mrs. Dash Chicken. I then grill them or put them on a broil pan and bake them for 30 minutes at 425 and then put it on broil to get the top nice and crispy.

I then put them in a container as soon as the get done cooking so that when I seal it the heat keeps them nice and moist for the week.

Usually I’m a pretty good cook, but when I’m on a strict diet I don’t venture off the path so not much I can do with the food lol.

Haha thanks man! It helps when you build the engine for it…and get the nice discount on them

By the way, it doesn’t do too well in the snow. I had to use my strongman training bag to help get traction haha.

Hey, sorry if question has been asked before but I’m wondering how you get use the mac. oil. Do you use it for cooking or you just drink it?

It’s fine! I use it to cook the shrimp and cucumber. One of the main reasons why CT likes it, is because it remains stable at higher temperatures.
