Hey dude,

I’m watching all four of you very closely, but your constant updating is keeping me hooked man.

I’m jealous, I’ll be honest (maybe I’ll get chosen to do the V-Diet)

I’m totally stealing that “barbarian workout” for something new. Keep it up dude, I’m diggin’ your log.

I’m glad I’m able to make it interesting enough for you to get hooked!! haha must mean I’m doing something right! That Barbarien workout is totally badass man. What surprised me even more is that I actually feel better today after the workout than I did yesterday before it! I’m not nearly as sore. I guess it really got the blood flowing.

Thanks for the response concerning the picture. Were you just told what items to purchase and you went out and got them or were you told a specific brand, etc…? Also, what does the SURGE Workout Fuel taste like?

We were told exactly what to eat and in what amounts and then it was up to us to go and buy it. As Thibs is up in Canada I doubt I could find any brands he uses.

SURGE Workout Fuel is fruit punch flavored. I would go into more detail but I’m not sure if they really want us to talk about it.

Not much veggies… But lots of oranges

Crew do you eat the shrimp raw or cooked? I think I read in one of your meals that you ate it as a snack.
Thanks for the info on the SURGE Workout Fuel, no need to worry, don’t disclose any info you are not supposed to, I don’t want to get you into any trouble. Keep up the hard work and the best of luck. Have Fun!

Lol I have never heard of anyone eating raw shrimp (even in sushi it’s steamed).

I buy mine precooked and then put them in a pan with the mac. oil and cucumbers and heat it like that. Then here at work I’ll just microwave it for a couple of seconds and chow down.

Hope that helps!

Lol on workout days I eat 4 oranges a day so yup I need lots!

As far as veggies go I already have 3 bags of frozen broccoli, 1 bag of mixed green veggies, and 1 bag of green beans. So as you can see I’m pretty well set on the veggies!

yah… what’s with all the oranges?

4 oranges a day on workout days. Including strongman training I have 6 workout days. 6x4= 24 oranges plus 2 on my off day so that’s 26 oranges a week. There are roughly 12-14 oranges in the sack, hence two sacks or boxes.

No offense mate but if you were following my diet logs you would have been able to tell that I need 2 bags or boxes of oranges a week for the diet Thibs has me on.

Bizarre is to be eating even more oranges than myself, I believe he has 6 on training days.

Lol come’on guys break out the high school math here.

CREW dude,

I think they meant, why are you eating all those damn oranges, not, hey, how many oranges are you eating.

Is it to replace the glycogen you are burning off?

Your meals rock! shrimp, strawberries, salmon, blueberries and oranges. That sounds tasty.

Oops my bad Biz is eating the same amount of oranges as myself. I just checked his log.

Haha crew dude, nice

I don’t know the exact reason for it but I shall ask Thibs and get back to you guys! It’s one of those things were he told me to eat it, so I do since he knows best!

Lol just like if your drill instructor told you to jump, your only reply should be, “Sir,how high, sir?”

I shall ask him now in my section, stay tuned for your answer!

They call me Mr. Thibs.

if he were a black man in the south in law enforcment.

Ok guys (and gals!)

I just asked CT in my section for you guys since I didn’t know the answer! Hopefully you’ll get a better answer than my little math calculation!

Just in case anyone missed it in my log this is what CT had to say,

Oranges are high in vitamin C which helps lower cortisol levels. But it’s not just the vitamin C that helps. The vitamin C combined with the citrus flavones as well as anthocyanins and hydroxycinnamic acids that the orange contains significantly increase the body healing capacity (including healing from physical training) not to mention very strong anti-oxidant properties.

One of the flavones in oranges, herperidin, is a very strong anti-inflammatory too and has been shown to lower high blood pressure and bad cholesterol.

All and all, oranges are probably ‘the’ best adaptogenic food you can buy.

Haha yeah sorry about my first post man! It was late at night and my brain wasn’t working so well. lol

Hey Crew, i had my doubts at first, but you are kicking some ass man.

And i love the barbarian work out, i used to do something very similar, but instead of a sandbag, i just used a big ass rock that i found down at a quarry.

So i understand the ass kickery that is that workout.

keep it up.

Thanks for giving me a chance man! Haha I think your workout sounds harder, my bag is a bit easier to grip! I’m jealous though since yours would really get me in shape for the stones in strongman!
