Re-read your ‘New Start’ post as you’ve been ill since you wrote it.

I sense (maybe unfairly) that recent events have knocked your focus - DON’T LET THEM. You can control your training, you can control your diet, you can control your supplementation, use these as foundations that can’t be shaken by the other s*** life throws at you.[/quote]

Good post and I agree with you. It’s funny how you mentioned using the diet as a foundation. Last night when I was cooking my chicken breasts and brown rice for my lunches I actually felt like things were getting back on track. It was the first time I got back into a groove at my new location.

Thanks for the good post!

Hey CREW,

Following your post since the beggining and now im little confuzed with your training split and how many days a week you hit the gym…(know you just moved and maybe that where i lost track)…Could you just give me a idea of your current split!!Thanks

This was the ideal split:

WEEK 1
Monday: Bench press intensive
Tuesday: Lower
Wednesday: Torso
Thursday: OFF
Friday: Delts/Arms
Saturday: OFF
Sunday: Bench press contrast

WEEK 2
Monday: OFF
Tuesday: Bench press intensive
Wednesday: Lower
Thursday: Torso
Friday: OFF
Saturday: Delts/Arms
Sunday: OFF

WEEK 3
Monday: Bench press contrast
Tuesday: OFF
Wednesday: Bench press intensive
Thursday: Lower
Friday: Torso
Saturday: OFF
Sunday: Bench press contrast (no arms/delt day)

WEEK 4
Monday: OFF
Tuesday: OFF
Wednesday: Test your bench press max
Thursday: Lower
Friday: Torso
Saturday: OFF
Sunday Delts & Arms

But due to my sick week I started over with week 1 schedule last week.

Hey Crew! I noticed you and Bartl really have your schedules, meals and day to day plans really dialed in.

I would imagine having everything organized also makes for extra time where you don’t have to run around getting your stuff together.

Also probably makes it easier to get what you need to get done, the way you have to do it.

Thanks for the examples! and the weird sideways photo of your lunch.

dude, it’s time to pick up the pace on your all-you-can-eat days…protein shakes and fruit??? come on, man. lol

you should watch these videos for motivation when you wake up on those days:

haha I’m just trying to prove that I am actually eating what I am supposed to!

Having a routine helps me a ton! It’s also nice since it allows me extra time to sleep in the mornings

Haha I know know it was pretty sad. I over slept and had to get my ass to Church so I was eating whatever was in the house. I’ll pick it up this weekend I promise!

I did eat 1/2 a box of oreos though.

Have you really been calculating the calories on those all you can eat days? I ask because it seems like you are beating the previous weeks total each week.

Can’t say that I am as I don’t know of a way to get the calroies from all the food that I eat out at. You know how they are with even the nutritional info on the web, it lists everything without the sides and toppings.

i know what you mean

Hey CP, looks like you are back on track. With all the stuff that has happened to you the past few weeks, you have definitely rebounded nicely and regained focus.

As you know, life isn’t all rainbows and sunshines and high fives. We have to be tested from time to time, and the way we handle those tests speaks for our character and work ethic. You, my friend, have done well for yourself, and are getting stronger mentally and physically.

Keep at it!

Hey Crew,
Keep up the good work bro, you’re doing great.

Nice log CP. Glad to see you maintaining a stiff upper lip in the face of adversity.

All the breast!

Hey thanks bushi! Didn’t know you were reading this thing, haha thanks for reading and the motivation to keep the lip stiff. Haha all the breast huh? Sounds good to me!

I hope all is going well with you!

Hey man, I am not really sure if you would even want to eat this, or what anybody else would think about this (not that I care), but I do this sometimes (and maybe I just did) with my snacks/meals… and it was somewhat reminiscent of the weird eating habits at Clemson…

I took two super lean semi-monstrous homemade hamburger patties (plain) and threw a few pounds (ok maybe it was just a dinner plate’s worth) of microwaved spinach (plain) between them. It was pretty good I suppose. I may have paired that with some sardines and spicy brown mustard. Just a thought for next Sunday’s free-for-all chowfest.

Hmm I’m a pretty big man of spinach so I will give it a try! Well minus the sardines haha I don’t care how good they are for you, I can’t eat’em. Thanks for the tip and feel free to keep them coming!

1/2 pound of 93% lean beef is 360 calories.

2 of those with 1/2 cup of walnuts comes out to 1120.

lol hmmm Fudruckers (sp?) has a 1lb burger and you know they don’t use any 93% lean so I’m sure that’s a boat load of cals!

Crew!!! I don’t mean this in a pervy way but where are the pics fella?

glad to read things are getting back on track.

With reading all the clinic logs it demonstrates that life happens and folks have to deal with it.

Sorry you had so many obstacles.

Now come on, give us a Kodak moment.
