Physique Clinic discussion for CrewPierce

Hey Crew,

Great post (Gettin Angry). I have been following along since the start but never really thought to reply. Keep up the fantastic posts and the amazingly hard work.

Thanks for following along and I’m glad you enjoy my posts!

My only comment is you went to taco bell and only got three tacos… pussy.

Honestly, your log is so straightforward and without bumps right now, there’s nothing to comment on. Take it as a compliment because you have a great attitude.

Haha good point at least people aren’t yelling at me for sucking!

Lol the cheesy gordida crunch counts as 2 so I think I had 4  This weekend I’ll try and add in another one, after CT told me to beat what I ate last week!

Oh, man, I wish I could eat a cheesy gordida crunch. You lucky S.O.B. lol

Haha it was damn tasty! I kinda hope CT has some HOT-ROX in my future though…lol those abs are long gone!

Oh, man, do you find that tough to deal with mentally?

Not really, I have never had really defined abs and I’m still 1/2 the fat of most powerlifters so I’m ok with it.

Good points. Your numbers (on lifts) look good for your size. (to the casual observer such as myself)

Slightly jealous,
Kelley

Crew,
congrats on your pr’s in squat and rack pulls, that’s great. Pics look good, the only comment I would make is the same one CT made with the back double biceps pose, you should push your arms back towards the camera to show more of your biceps and anterior delts.
keep up the good work,

Yea that’s a very good point. I had my arms in the correct position but I thought the camera had already gone off so I believe in that picture I had started turning around to see it. haha my bad

Thanks on the congrats for the PR, ALMOST back to where I left off before the injury on squats! 15 more pounds!

How do you feel about pulling with those edged plates? Those are about the same ones we have in the university gym, and they’re such a pain. I don’t pull as often as I’d like because whenever I place the bar down it rolls in every direction.

Do you reset with each rep? or is it just a little tap and go off the floor?

Hmmm so it looks like things have slowed down on my boards!

Not too many people commented on the pictures I took, and the coaches haven’t written much lately.

I need to do something controversial I think. Hmmmm what would piss people off…

Tell’em you voted for Hillary yesterday…

Whats up man. I have not checked up on your thread in a few days (my bad) and I just saw that you posted some training pics-- Perhaps it was the blurring of that particular photo, but it looked like you were rounding out your lumbar spine a little in the lift? Ouch. I was pulling yesterday and across from me there was this guy trying to pull 365 and his spine literally looked like a freaking rainbow. The sad part was that after each set he would go to a pulley stack and push/pull/etc on the upright supports and try to stretch and he was groaning the whole time. Then he started doing cable rows and leaned so far back he could have arched his head back and touched it to the bench! Ridiculous!

Anyway, it is too bad you didn’t take those plates back from those two dudes and smash them in their faces-- Could have been a great stress reliever…

If you line up all the plates together and put the clamps on tightly the bar wont roll around as much so I don’t mind them at all.

I tap and go, if my set-up worked for the first one why alter it? lol

Lol it’s funny that you mention that because I thought the same thing when I first looked at the pictures, but it’s actually my lifting belt giving it that look! It’s rather thick and matched my shirt color wise so they blend in on the pictures!

Haha I wish I could have smashed them…that would have been fun

I bet that guy wonders why his back hurts!

Not so much to alter it, but to regain proper starting position. My hands are pretty small so sometimes I have to regrip, or if I’m doing a switch grip I like to turn my hands the other way.

Anyway, I read your Clinic page a lot. We’re similiar as far as size, goals, body type, and weights we’re lifting, so its fun to follow along.

Keep it up and train hard.

Damn bro calves are looking swole in those pictures… lol just fucking with u

u gained six pounds while losing three percent body fat right? Thats pretty damn good progress. When are u coming back down to clemson btw? i thought it was soon. you should try to get into iron tiger this year somehow.

Lol yes my calves and posing are about on the same level. I’ll be in Clemson in 14 days.

Haha btw you are totally creepy for creating an account for your g/f then posting under it
