Is anyone else following this exact same workout and diet? I have been, but I don’t really want to post MY stats on Bizarre’s thread. But due to the lack of posts, I will share some of my experiences, hopefully others will do the same.
This is a hard workout, emotionally and physically. I went from deadlifting 405 and DB rowing 100 one-handed to using 5 and 10 pounders in some of these lifts! These are strange movements to me, some of them make my joints grind and pop. I have DOMS all the time, period. The soreness just moves around, trades places. I haven’t been sleeping well, sometimes 2-3 hours a night. Constant restlessness, cramps, and general pain. I’m not a pussy though, I’ll goddamn keep doing it, because it’s working! Like the quote says, we improve ourselves by victories over ourself. There must be contests, and you must win.
The diet has been very refreshing for me. I like all the fruits and vegetables, and I’m starting to get addicted to eating every 2-3 hours no matter what. I enjoy looking into my refrigerator and seeing no traces of my old self. I’ve been to two parties already and had no interest in desserts. The thought just makes me ill. Besides, chocolate MD is so delicious, I have dessert every day! 1.5g/lb protein feels…funny. That’s about the way to describe it.
Last Sunday:
Weight: 200 pounds
Heart: 94 beats/min
Temp: 96.8 F
This Sunday (one week):
Weight 204
Heart: 100
Temp: 97.2
Heart rate seems high, it used to be around 60 a year or two back when I was doing a lot of running and physical labor. That might explain why I can do well on 10 seconds of rest: I simply need to catch my breath.
The world is slowly changing by degrees for me. Perspectives are changing, like you’re slowly learning that you can do anything. Anyone else?
Sab,
are you taking your heart rate the first thing in the morning?
100 bpm is way high. Your max heart rate should be 220 minus your age.
As an example I’m 27 so my max HR is 193.
At 100 bmp that’s 52% of my max HR.
My morning heart rate is around 55bpm right now.
You may want to ask a qualifed person if they think your resting HR is too high.

Sab, good to hear someone else actually working out along w/ bizarre (if that guy is even still doing this thing). But, you’re an ecto @ 200lbs???
I’m 5’7" and only weigh 147 right now. I actually got close to 170lbs using Berardi’s book “Scrawny to Brawny” and BSN supplements earlier this year, then let it all slip away because my transition from active duty military to full-time student was hard on me.
Now, I found T-Nation, CT, and Biotest supplements. I’m hella excited to get started, but won’t “officially” start until the 24th.
I was going to say that your resting heart rate is pretty high too. Although I’d just like to get as huge as genetically possible, I’m still going to run for at least 20 mins for two of the off-days, and then use a stairmaster with a weighted vest on the third off-day. I’m an aspiring firefighter, so although I’d like to cut out cardio to bulk up, I can’t let that go. Too important right now.
Hey, do you plan on posting your daily diet and workout numbers on here as well? That would be awesome if you could.

Hey bizarre, could you post what your supplement plan looks like? Since I’m also an ecto I want to follow your plan as closely as i can!!
Hey, what’s up. I’m trying to follow this same program as well, and have read this PC front to back a bunch of times trying to figure it all out.
This is how his supplements are supposed to be worked out during this portion of the program:
Flameout - 4 tablets with breakfast
Metabolic Drive - 3 scoops with breakfast
2 scoops with lunch
2 scoops right before bed
Surge - 1 serving post workout
BCAA - 15-20 tablets during workout
He’s also using the secret Surge Workout Fuel which is unavailable to us during his workout.
Hope this helps.
It sucks that it isn’t any easier to figure this out just by reading his PC like it is for the other participants, but that’s what we’re all here for in this thread–to help each other out, right?

Hey thanks for posting this, it really helped piece things together. Also good luck with this program.
I used to weigh in at a hefty 140. It took me about six years to hit 200. I’m more of a meso now, but I still undereat and drift backward if I don’t log it. I don’t qualify anymore for the skin-and-bones “ecto” label, if that’s what you’re asking.
I just hope Bizarre is alright. Saw a car in a ditch today, made me think about the “other guy”. We’re all bitching about his posts and everything, when he might be laid up with a broken back. I’m just saying, I hope the dude is alright.
I am a college student like you with a high course load and a job that has odd hours - on call IT work.
I understand the difficulty that such time constraints can put on training and/or updating a log regularly, but…
Consider that:
A) You are in college and most likely on a budget. This means the opportunity to receive unlimited supplements FOR FREE should be a mind blowing one for you
B) You have the most nay-sayers of all PC applicants. You can use this to your advantage and really show up the most amount of people talking trash, but just understand their frustration: You are a unique body type and yours had/has the potential to be an interesting PC experiement.
I know finals are a tough time, I’m studying myself at the moment, but if I remember you are at a CSU and therefore have ONE MONTH off after finals, so there can’t be anymore excuses man. Get into gear and show us that we’re wrong, and walk away with a badass physique and having nailed all your exams.

Wow, 140 to 200 must’ve taken a lot of hard work and dedication, and a lot of eating. I made it from 135 to 165-170 within 3-4 months, and it was hard moving up from there.
Hopefully we hear from bizarre tomorrow. Or CT and Shug. . .
I’ve never written in the forums but this guy really pissed my off and made me look at the forum threads (you see, that’s a positive thing:D). I’m glad to see that he’s given one final week to improve though I think it’s way too much.
BTW I’ve already adopted the same program, I’m using similar supplements. The diet is a bit different but I stick to the basics. So far I can say the programs is a mind blower. It just makes you work more, more intensely.
Can you be any more obvious, linnear0035? What are you, some jealous fourth-grader?
Even if he’s kicked off the program its not like you’re next in line to replace him. So cool your jets. He’ll post when he can, and if thats not good enough, the “powers that be” will decide to drop the kid.

Just so I’m getting this right since this certain PC is so hard to follow:
Is that right? And we just repeat the workouts until CT switches it up?
I think you are correct and I thank you for posting this. I am having a very hard time following this thread due to his lack of consistency and detail. The idea is to keep us posted when CT changes the work out and diet - but don’t count on Andy to let you know.
I think what we’re seeing with the physique clinic is a traditional bell curve distribution. There’s 4 guys, 2 of them (bartl and novagreg) are in the middle: doing okay, right on schedule. One of them has become a favorite of the crowd (crewpierce) and is really going above and beyond. And one of them is slacking (bizarre).
I really hope bizarre gets his shit together, now that he’s officially on the brink of public failure. Maybe this is what will take for him to get dropdead serious.
Good luck, biz. It’s not too late for a comeback of epic proportions.

Does anyone know how long this certain diet and workout routine will last? I’m assuming 4 weeks.[/quote]
Clearly I’m not on the exact same diet, but mine is similar so maybe I can help fill in the gaps on this thread!
You assume correct, Thibs diets are for a month. It appears we have 3 stages to go through in the 3 months, so each month we will be getting a new diet.
I’ve learned that when things are tough – is NOT the time to go it alone.
That what coaches are for. And that’s what this forum should be for to –
Dude – you CAN do this – that’s why you were one of the elite to make the cut.
When you post here about that you’ve had some problems – guess what – you’ll get some grief – you’ll get some advice – its ALL encouragement.
Don’t go this alone without working with your coaches (umm, you may have to learn to take the coaching) – and all of us reading and watching your progress, too.
This morning Coach Thibaudeau received a PM from bizarre that began with this:
“I wanted this so much, but it is apparent that I am not cut out for this.”
Long story short: bizarre is dropping out.
He has revealed to us a pre-existing medical condition that will hamper his progress. Maybe that’s an excuse, or maybe he used poor judgment in entering the Physique Clinic without telling us the full story. Or, perhaps we’re at fault for not asking.
So bizarre’s Physique Clinic ends here. We wish him the best of luck, but of course luck has nothing to do with it.
Any idea when you will be selecting another ‘ecto’ for the physique clinic? If its going to be awhile would it be possible to see a summary of what CT had setup for bizarre?
Thanks
