hey Bartl ive been following your thread for a while now this is however my first post. first and foremost congrats on how far youve come in such a short amount of time, cant wait to see pics in july. i was sitting here last night watching tv and saw those shitty commercials from subway with jared and thought that after your clinic is done and your ripped you could say that all you had to do to get ripped was drink Biotest protein shakes and give a big thumbs up, and your on your way to millions. congrats again
I like where you head is! If Biotest wants me to do something like that to make me a millionare, I’m all for it. But instead of having me stand around with Reggie Bush or Tony Stewart, just let me hang with some of the chicks from MWA. That would be way more fun.
BTW…you guys see the leg session I have to do today?
So Thibs sent me my new training schedule this morning. Lets just say…damn. These next three weeks are going to be hell but a fun hell. Just wait until you see the sessions. I almost want to post it all now but I don’t want to ruin the suprise ![]()

You think that one is bad, wait until you see what I have to do on Saturday…
Man, I am struggling to eat right now. I’m already on meal #2 and I am dying trying to shove down this chicken. My gag reflex is out of control.
This is going to be interesting trying to eat every two hours…

man at least you can eat…i had my wisdom teeth yanked the other day and havent eaten anything solid in 4 days. its like being on the V-Diet but not doing it willingly. maybe thats how the coaches should keep their clients on the V-Diet just start pulling teeth

Man, been there done that. I remember when I got my wisdom teeth pulled, I was high for weeks. They gave me great pain killers, so strong, I couldn’t even hardly drink anything.

Thanks! I have already planned the next tattoo but that will wait until after the program is over. Let’s just say that the program has inspired the next one…

Holy cow - looks like you had a baby!
Way to go man - I knew you were shaving the weight, but that is impressive for so short a time. But we’ve seen on these pages that you’ve paid the admission for this “E-ticket” ride.
I saw your comment in re: eating so often. I started trying to break up my meals just 2 weeks ago, and it really is a lot harder than I would have believed. I mean - there was a time (not so long ago) I had no issue sitting down to a big burger & fries, maybe even some kind of deep-fried appetizer and jamming it all in at one sitting - but now that my stomach has obviously shrank, it’s literally a chore to eat at times… even a plate of chicken and an apple is like a 4 course meal.
Breakfast is really killing me because I typically have a liter of water to start with, then a protein drink, and THEN real food a short time later. Eeesh - I hope I get used to this too!

Good job man I just spent a few hours reading through your Physique Clinic, lots of good information in there… first off I want to say good job on your fat loss so far, I’m on a pretty similiar diet so I know how hard it is to eat that strict.
I had a few questions that I couldn’t seem to find in that thread, are onions okay to eat? I’ve been eating them with my eggs every morning but after seeing it wasn’t on Thib’s list of veggies I’m not sure if I should continue with them… Also after how many days did you lower your fat intake, and by how much?
Thanks and once again congrats on your fat loss and remember “winners never quit, and quitters never win” … I forget who it’s by but its a great quote.
Hey another Canadian! Right on, thanks for the words, it truly does help motivate me.
RE: Onions
It depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If you are trying to lose fat, then ditch the onions with the egg’s and switch to celery. It tastes like shit but like Thibs said, its a functional food. The purpose of to help keep you satiated without adding a lot of carbs or calories. I asked about onions and didn’t get an answer so I assumed that they have a different function.
RE: the fat intake.
I was taking in high fat for I think 6 weeks before he took down some of the fat. I am not sure how much fat he has taken out though. The first time he switched the diet the only thing that changed was no red meat and the addition of fish and shrimp. I am no brain surgeon but I think the fat pretty much stayed the same, maybe a slight change. Now this time, I am only taking in fat three day’s a week through oil and have cut back on the Flameout. Thibs now only has me on 12 per week or 4 pills three times a week.
Pretty much the only other oil I am taking in is via fish. I have that everyday.
Hope that helps.
BTW, your Maple Leafs are struggling

I’m from just south of the border from Vancouver, so I grew up with Canucks. I’ll never forget my first game, Tiger Williams got into a huge fight (theres something new) and the place went banana’s. I’ve been hooked ever since.

On a sidenote, Craig Conroy is one of my clients and of all the pro hockey players that I’ve worked with, he has one of the best work ethic.

Oh yeah a question I forgot, for bartl or CT, what should I consume in my PWO shake if I’m on a very low carb diet and don’t want glutamine?
I would just stick with Grow! Whey but I’m no expert.

It shows, he is an amazing player. Strong on his feet and good quick release with his wrists.
He is one of my favorite active players.

Yep, I don’t understand why you don’t want glutamine, but Grow! Whey or a whey isolate is a good choice. Adding BCAA’s is also a good idea.
