why thank you!

B-

Just insane update pics, man. You and Gus continue to motivate!

I’m sitting here after my morning workout looking at your new menu/meals and it’s killin’ me  ( must… keep… sipping… shake… )

Keep it up!

Bartl, I just your post in Gus’s thread about possibly doing the V-Diet. My initial reaction was “oh hell yeah, that would be the ultimate transformation.” Whether you were joking or not, I think it’s a great idea. Think about it, you’ll lose even more weight even while maintaining/gaining muscle; it’ll also be a GREAT mental test. Just a thought…

P.S.-> If you do or don’t, it doesn’t bother me, you’re still my favorite PC. Keep it going bro!

bro that band propagandhi strait rocks…love the music man

Those latest pics are mighty impressive. You already look like a new man, and soon you’ll be sporting abs - definitely not too long now.

Keep up the great work, and I wish you continued success!!

Barti, I just wanted to chime in and say excellent job!! I was linked to your clinic thread about a week ago, and spent the last week reading your progress. It motivated me to get my account, and I am going to be submitting for the Clinic, as well.

You are an inspiration to us all, I think, and I know that, personally, your Clinic has helped put me back on track with my own training.

You rock, man. Pure and simple.

It’s been something I have been thinking about doing after my race. I will have to talk to Thibs about it though because it might not be the best time to do it as I will be training for a 200 mile bike race. So there are a couple things still to be decided. If not after my first race, definitely after my second race in August. So sometime before the end of this year I will do it just to completely shred me out.

Hey bud, looks like you have experienced your own little Phoenix moment. Hopefully it keeps rolling because its a great feeling when you take control of your training and go for it.

Thanks for the kind words, I won’t let you down over these next 4 weeks!

opening day for Mariners today woohoo.

My boss has tickets but said he might be too busy doh!

My dad sent me a picture of the backyard with snow on the ground. So I sent him a picture of my temperature gauge reading 74.

I did not agree with the decision to put Brendan Morrow to Double-A. The kid had a rough spring I saw but pitched good last year. I am starting to doubt Mac’s choices for personnel already.

Hey Bartl, 2 thumbs up for the amazing progress.

Could you please ask Thibs to explain this: "Never mix acid and sweet fruits

You can mix acid and sub-acid or sub-acid and sweet"

I eat a big bowl with 5 different fruits every morning and really need to know why one should not mix. Thanks in advance

If he doesn’t answer it here, which he does sometimes, I will ask in the main thread.

Just came to say you are doing an awesome job. The transformation is looking great. It also seems as if you look more confident and right you should! Truly inspiring the fact that you did that and gave up smoking etc. Am rooting for ya, and when are ya gonna post some new pictures? Hope we get to see those long awaited abs soon.

Anyways good luck mate,

Itja

I posted pictures yesterday

I definitely will have to fight for the towel girl spot now! You look great!

Bartl,

Here is an alternate way to look at your fat loss: volume.

You have lost roughly 60lbs.
Fat has a density of 0.9007g/cm3

Running through the calculations and converting to litres (easier to visualize than cm3) you have lost 30.3L of fat.

That is enough to fill 7.5 four litre (1 Gallon) milk jugs!

Not sure how to take that one. Thats awesome that I lost 1 gallon of fat, but its sick because I was carrying 1 gallon of fat on my body.

Cool calculations though…
