I’m only thinking 190 brother…

Are you planning on doing some of your own ‘mini’ tri’s before your comp? It would be interesting to see what your baseline time would be.

This is great to hear. Glad you were not not just “bribed off” into PC Correctness (note the double entendre) by Biotest. :-))))))) But, I cannot imagine YOU as someone who would be. If you are REALLY out of material, I would be happy to supply some ideas via PM. :-)))))

Oh–btw–please forgive me my eschewance of words like “bro, rad, and dude”. In addition to my being an Old Geezer, we never really used "these’ here in good ole’ Indian-er.

Though–I still use, and revel in, the West Coast term of: TTS. For example, "did you see your rommate’s Mercedes on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous? That’s TTS!

rsq.

I’ve thought about it. I was thinking of doing the course for the race I am doing in August because it is almost exactly like this first one, only its got a longer bike and longer run. But unless the ocean warms up a bit, I don’t think it will happen. Surfing in 55 degree water is one thing, swimming in it is another. Plus, my wetsuit hasn’t been fixed yet, so I am waiting on that too.

See I just can’t see me complaining if I got to buy a whole new wardrobe!!! You lucky guy!

Although loose panties/boxer-briefs are uncomfy.

Just think in a couple of weeks you will probably be at your goal.

Good job Bartl

Its ok to say tits. At least out here it is.

And its not lack of material per se. There have been times when I wrote something and then was like, wow, thats worse than before and have deleted it. And you right, I would not be bought out by Biotest.

Well, unless they paid for me to take Shugs to a disco just so he can break out his original white suit from the 70’s and watch him start a disco-war with Thibs.

French people are great dancers and Canucks suck, so that would be an interesting mixture. But I would give the edge to Thibs due to his somewhat distorted French background. Shugs I think lives in TX, so he’s only good at line dancing, shooting animals, spitting chew and cooking.

haha! I actually meant for YOU! I bet everything is too loose on you now.

but I think you knew that

Bartl,
I’m a little late jumping in on this thread party, but I’ve been following your clinic from the outset and wanted to say congratulations, man, your progress and life changes are astounding and inspiring.

Best of luck on your tri.

ROFL!
hahaha… the funniest thing I’ve read in ages!!

Interesting, what you said earlier about your scottish hertitage. To me, it just goes to prove that you come from good stock! Hope you manage to make it to Edinburgh some day, it’s a crackin’ city. Lots to see and do, and not that it’ll interest you much these days, but some pretty cool pubs as well  I’m in Aberdeen about 2 hours drive north.

All the best.

Oh…sorry. I’m a boxer-briefs guy, with the occasional boxer and been known to go commando (back in the day). Those are actually one of the few clothes that still fit, prolly due to the elastic band.

Thanks a lot. I’m glad you jumped in on the party because we are having a blast…at least I am.

For my last meal of the day today, I pulled a Shugs.

No I didn’t get slapped by some chick I was trying to pick up and no I didn’t win a karaoke contest by singing “I Touch Myself”.

Excuse me while I go to the bathroom and clean my shorts because I do believe I just shit myself.

Thibs, you are THE MAN!

Do I start this on Monday or can I start tomorrow?

You can start tomorrow.

LOL…I feel like I just got laid for the first time all over again.

Ear-to-Ear grin

For cooking meats and veggies, are we taking out all use of oils or is coconut oil still an option? For example, can an sautee the 1/2 sweet potato in 1/2 T of coconut oil and then add in one serving of whole wheat pasta? [/quote]

Dude, you’re getting a wee bit excited over a diet.

Be sure to post detailed descriptions of your triathlon training, okay? I need a good plan to follow and I’m too cheap to go out and buy one. {j/k}

I am super excited over a diet. I’ve been eating the same shit everyday for the past 9 straight weeks. I was starting to lose it. Its like when you are weight training and you hit a plateau, well I felt like I was on a plateau with my diet for the past 4 weeks.

So I think its ok for me to be a little excited. Besides, he gave me freedom to choose my own plan. So this is the greatest learning experience I think so far during this Clinic.

Congratulations on your progress! Keep up the good work!
