So I hurt my Patella tendon doing sprints, if I stay off of it for a few days it feels fine but the second I jump or jog, it comes back full force. Tonguebiting pain.
There has to be stretches for this tendon, any recommendations?
This injury is really bringing my cardio down.
Edit: Forgot to add that there is no discoloration, swelling, or liquid.
try resting for more than a few days. i pulled my groin couple years ago and kept off anything physical for 3days. The 4th day I participated in my soccer practice. 2minutes in, pulled. You might need to be off for 2weeks. Give it time, and rest!
Tendons take a very long time to heal. I have been dealing with a pain in the tibial tuberosity area(where the patellar tendon ends) recently. It flared up a couple of months ago, I stayed relatively easy on it for the next couple of months, and then today, just from jumping around a little it has flared up again and hurts really badly.
I do not have very much experience with tendon injuries, but I wanted to chime in to say that I have also been experiencing some tendon pain recently, which surprises me because I really did lay off it for many weeks.
