Pains During Certain Exercises

2 things :

When I do dumbbell flat bench press, at the very bottom of the movement it seems to be uncomfortable and I get a slight clicking or crack on the first set or two.

My friend gets a sharp short pain down the inside of his wrist after holding a barbell or doing curls etc. with an underhand or overhand grip.

Anyone have any idea what gets rid of these problems or how to avoid them while training etc.

mobility work before training (maginificent mobility DVD as an example), stop exercises that cause pain, seek assistance from a physio who lifts weights.
