I’ve been having some pain in my left palm, lower right quadrant ( fleshy area directly below the pinky and just above the wrist joint - hypothenar??)
Based on my usage and the pain level/area, to my untrained eye it appears to be hypothenar Hammer Syndrome - I’ll be making a doctor’s appointment shortly to get it looked at and confirmed/ruled out.
What i am curious is if anyone has experienced something similar and how they recovered or continued training. Given that all pushing aggrevates it further, i am focusing on more lower body work and pulling ( quads, posterior chain, DLs, back thickness/width).
Did anyone use FatGripz? I find a bar with a higher diameter is less painful.
- How long did it take to recover?
- How did you recover? Rehab/Rest/Surgery?
- How did you continue training pushing movements? or did you cease all until healed?
