Paco, Paco, Paco

bad arms?
I am puzzled beyond belief when someone questions his aesthetics. Does he not have an X-frame? Does he not look well put together with very few body parts out of place? His belly nowhere near extends like Paco’s does (and I love the guy for his freakishness and his superb conditioning). Personally I enjoy his look almost more then any other bodybuilder. Especially in the last two years.

Paco, as a freak, has all my respect but as a competitor he looks nowhere near top 10 material yet Branch most certainly does. I agree Heath and Cutler should place ahead of him but quite frankly, unless Kai comes in amazing shape, no one else.

Branch Warren looks better. No contest. only thing lagging i see would be forearms, everything else spot on.

Paco, well, is no Warren Branch…

Why are you posting a contest pic of Kevin from 2 or more years ago and comparing it a current off season pic?

The man has made huge progress in the last 3 years as far as size. You don’t know much about these guys if you think he doesn’t have legs like that when in off season mode.

The size his triceps get up to in the off season is also impressive.

I assume you are going to prove now that the pic is “photoshopped” like you claimed earlier…because I hope you don’t think you just did that.

Branch is known for his conditioning. People focus on that and ignore the esthetics issue. I actually think he deserved every bit of that contest he won. However, Paco is a beast in the conditioning department as well…but that doesn’t seem to even earn him a point on the score card.

Both are lacking in esthetics even though Paco is clearly further removed…but we seem to reward freaks at times…so why not him EVER?
Above all else? Clavicle to waist (hip bone diameter) ratio. That reigns king, its what creates a visually appealing physique. Its why smaller guys can look better than bigger guys who are better conditioned (not place better necessarily, but look better)

my first pic didnt post, i dont know if this one will. there is very clear difference in the way these two guys are built.
No shit. Really? There is a huge difference between the way Heath and Branch are built as well.

1.These pics are from last year, I’d link you the threads or contest pictures directly but that is frowned upon. Google 2009 NPC USA.

2.The leg pictures are horribly photoshopped, it is pretty evident. One does not lose all leg size when they go on a diet.

3.His name is KEITH Williams, not KEVIN, but then again I don’t know everything. I’m sure you’ll find a way to argue that as well (perhaps you even have his dental records that clearly show his name is Kevin).

It’s not photoshopped and keith is one of those who does blow up in the off season and loses size as he diets down.

The above is an off season pic from 2009…mind you, he is definitely BIGGER now.

So, once again, I am waiting on you to PROVE the damned pic was photoshopped.

Another off season pic from 2009…about 1 and a half fucking years ago.

Mind you, all of these are on his own website so all it took was for you to avoid the gossip and go look for it.

Yeah, I got his name wrong…but I seem to know way more about him than you do.

One from the back just in case you are dumb enough to keep screaming photoshop.

Anything else?

my main problem with paco, is that his stomach is way too distended and doesn’t have that v-taper that branch has. His legs also don’t look “full” like branch’s do

It’s definitely the unpopular opinion, but I like these, hmm… “unaesthetic” physique a lot of times. Excluding Kovacs.

Mostly because I’m just not a guy who has the good muscle bellies, muscle bellies - coupled with a wide waist/big frame. It doesn’t mean I don’t plan on continuing to get as big as I possibly can, and compete a couple years down the line. Seeing these guys is cool, because it kind of attributes towards the ideal mentality - Fuck the haters. (I know it’s very Genovian of me to say but hey, it’s true.)

As far as I’m concerned, many successful athletes/bodybuilders thrive off of that mentality. Yes, there are some who are opposite (out to prove themselves to others,) but I feel like the guy who’s introverted and can push past the stupid bullshit while keeping their head on a swivel is often times going to end up the better man in the end.

Just my .02

And Branch will never beat Heath again. Even though Phil doesnt have the widest clavicles he could do himself more justice if he adjusted his posing a bit. In my amateur opinion of course.

Branch beat Phil on a weekend when phil had the flu or something. Phil didnt look his best there, compared to previous shows. Judges defninitely dont look at compeititors in a bubble, they compare them to previous shows. I dont really mind that in a bodybuilding show

Especially with Phil in his prime and Branch getting older

Those off season pics above ^^ are fucking awesome.

Why the fuck is everyone so argumentative? It’s bodybuilding, we are all in this together.

Then again, this IS T-Nation…

QFT.

His stats:

Max on Bench: 550lbs.
Deadlift:725
Row: 385
Squats:700

He also eats 16-26 meals a day.

Could you elaborate?

Sleep, train, shower, shave, shit(four or five times a day if you’re eating like that), sex, …
How much total time spent just eating I wonder?
MEYMZ wrote:

Obviously a loose definition of the word ‘meal’. I am curious to se how much he eats. I never seen someone eat like Kai (at a single sitting)

Yeah… what does this really mean? That he’s basically eating all day?

I mean, to put an actual number on it like that seems pretty heinous to me.
