I got a 30 count of Oxandralone 50mg capsules from an HRT clinic and wanted some guidance on the most effective dosage and frequency. I saw someone comment about buying empty capsules to reduce the dosage. Do I take this only on days that I lift or every day? Is it better to divide the dose and take twice per day as 1/2 before lifting and 1/2 after lifting?
It has a pretty short half life so twice a day is a must. Iād prob split the 50 into 2 and take half in the morning and Iām the other in the afternoon.
I would not recommend either Anavar or Winstrol as a standalone AAS. IMO, either or both need testosterone stacked. I see you are getting the Anavar from a HRT clinic. Are you also receiving testosterone treatment?
As @s.gentz said you need to take Anavar as often as you can. When I used it it came as 2.5mg/tablet. I would take it 3 times a dayā¦
Var isnāt exactly known for putting slabs of muscle on, but for the sake of sparing the small supply you have - you might find it more useful to only use prior to training.
Itās going to sound dumb, but supplement creatine with it for an added effect. Thereās some data supporting synergistic effects. Same goes for caffeine and fat burning effect, FYI.
Thanks. I lift twice/week. I take caffeine and Creatine and also just started Ecdysterone. Iām also on week 7 of 100mg/week of Nandrolone Decanoate.
The 30 day supply is a ātrialā to see how I respond and what my blood work says afterwards. Iāll start the Oxandrolone as soon as I get use it until I run out.
My blood work is scheduled for mid June so Iāll have about one month for it to clear my system and see what my blood work says.
If all goes well Iāll look to add Oxandralone again and also want to increase the Nandrolone as I learned 100mg/week is very low and not enough to be very anabolic.
I meant to say I lift four times/week hitting each body part twice per week.
I do Chest, Shoulders, Triceps in one workout and
Legs, Back, Biceps the next day. I take three days off and repeat. Some times I take only two days off, sometimes four.
That is a fairly low dose, but I got good results taking 100mg/wk Deca with 20mg/day Anavar in 1977. It was the first contest where I was beginning to put a sharp physique onto the stage. And followed two weeks later with another win.
Well if you have capsules and not tablets you are going to be limited in your flexibility. Half life is like 8 hours so splitting is ideal but if you donāt have an option you will likely be instructed to take one a day from the doc.
I saw someone else comment in another post about using empty capsules to divide the contents of a single capsule into two. I could buy empty capsules or simply take a vitamin capsule and empty itās contents to repurpose the capsule. I guess I could dump the vitamin powder in a glass of water and drink it so as not to waste the vitamin.
BTWā¦. I was surprised to see it manufactured as capsules. All Iāve ever heard about was tablets. It made me a little paranoid. Itās from an HRT clinic so it āshouldā be legit as per the prescription. I bought the ROID Test kit to test it.
Better way to test it would be Janoshik testing, but its pharma grade - youāre probably fine not testing it.
Honestly, Iād probably keep the script and Var, but buy UGL and just take that instead. That way you have legal coverage for your āTRTā if questioned.

They said it didnāt matter however recommended to take one in the morning on days I donāt lift and on days that I do lift to take one, one hour prior to lifting.
I finally received them. Right now Iām taking one only on days that I do lift, one hour prior to lifting.
I never could figure out the best volume and frequency for my body. I just donāt have that ability to identify what works for me. I donāt know how long I was living with sub 300ng/dL Testosterone. Thatās probably why I was never able to really make any gains. Hopefully the medication will make a big difference with my time and effort.
