Overtraining Symptom?

During and after a workout my testes suck up into my body. Ok I am not really worried about that because it’s probably the last thing the endocrine system is focusing on. But sometimes I DO experience this off and on for several days afterwards in some cases, particularly after a flat/long/mediocre workout. Libido suffers as well.

This pattern is not solid but I am assuming this is a natural response to a dropoff in testosterone/rise in cortisol. Anyone experience something like this or have any thoughts?

That has nothing to do with testosterone or overtraining. It occurs in some men due to the fight or flight response.

LOL. They might be seeking warmth.

Anyway, it sounds like there could be at least two issues involved…

Maybe training causes his body to go into the fight/flight response?

Either way, this is the first time I’ve ever heard of this. You’re saying your nuts actually go up into your stomache?

No, they just jame up as close to my body as possible. I haven’t used steroids but I have read accounts of AAS users experiencing this when they start to shut down. The pituitary stops pumping out gnrh to regulate a balance of testosterone in a synthetic environment. I don’t know whether the leydig cells atrophy or just become dormant-either way it kinda scared me that I would experience something like this two days after a lift.

I attributed it all to the big shift in test during and after a workout. I figured that my levels were dropping off and I was overtrained.

I am a very vain person, and personally, I want my balls to look their best at all times. I don’t spend countless hours moisturizing for this.

I’ll probably get my test levels checked.

More than likely, it is simply blood being diverted to other parts of the body. if this happens after a workout, then that stands to reason. Kinda like when you get real cold, like George Costanza, that type of thing.

If you are concerned, I agree, see a doctor.
