Actually there was a group at base waiting to ascend. They were a great group! As soon as I crossed Mount Tempest they had filtered water waiting. They came up running and made sure I was hydrated. Shared stories at the tent, no fires that high up nothing to burn. They even made sure to wake me the next am so that I could reach my goal of doing it within 48hrs.
