Hi, when I was around 16 I had pretty bad osgood schlatters in my knees. I wore braces during football and weight training to get around it, it subsided in about a year. I’m 19 now and was doing heavy squats and all of the sudden the pain came back instantly in one of my legs. Is it true that osgood schlatters is not associated with any real actual damage?
I was reading some forums and some said you just push through the pain and no actual damage is being done. If anyone knows some techniques to push past this please let me know. I tried icing and wearing the braces, but the pain seems worse than I remember. It’s hard to bend my knee without the pain, let alone perform physical activities.
