OK, so I’m trying to come up with snacks between my meals. Problems are that I’m lactose intolerant and react badly to anything with milk or cheese, and that I work in a clinical environment, so I can’t really sit down and munch away on a sandwich.

Thanks. Is that personal opinion based on any proven studies, or more on ‘hearsay’ about associated gyno side-effects?
For the gyno side-effects, google ‘Genistein’ and ‘Daizden’, the latter may be a typo, these are the supposed compounds in soy that have the estrogenic effects.
My opinion, is that assess your degree of lactose intolerance. I am also intolerant, but a single lactase enzyme can prevent any side-effects, my father is not so lucky, thus he avoids damn near all dairy (and I know when he hasn’t, despite the amount of lactase)
If it is still a problem, then maybe get a healthy snack alongside some beef liver tabs, that would ensure amino acid content despite what you choose to have that day.
Edit: and to follow, some anecdotal evidence for the estrogenic effects of soy. I have gyno (it’s genetic, cry), but am kind of thankful since my cone titties are a useful marker for anything’s effects on my estrogen / testosterone profile; For example, after a week on Rez-V, my gyno has subsided a lot, about 6 months ago I tested out soy (at 20g a day of powder), and god damn I could stab people. Haven’t touched soy since.

I know a guy at work that drinks soy milk with his coffee throughout the day. I’ve started to recommend a sturdy sports bra to keep his tits in place. (Yes, it’s that bad.)
