Once a Week for Each Body Part too Little?

The split I’ve just started is a five day split: legs, back, chest, arms, shoulders, legs each get their own day. in terms of gaining mass and strength, is this too little, assuming each body part gets twenty to thirty sets? thanks

btw, i am currently 6 foot 1 and 205 pounds, if that makes a difference

20-30 sets is a lot by most peoples standards but that doesn’t mean it wont work for you.

If that is the order you do the workouts in during the week I think improvements can be made. If you are deadlifting on back day after squatting on leg day you may begin to overload your lower back.

Working arms the day after chest, followed by shoulders is going to hit your triceps quite hard. It’s not possible to completely isolate each muscle group, but it is wise to split up synergistic muscle groups.
