I would stick with the Do-Win shoes, but that is just me. I’ve got training partners that have the Adidas and I can tell you that none of them are as happy with their shoes as I am with my Do-Wins, and at about 2/3rds the price to boot!
Everyone has posted good links - one thing I would add is that the different brands have slightly different heel heights. The Do-wins and VSathletics typically have heel heights a bit higher than the adidas shoes…This may be a consideration if you are used to squatting w/out heels at all. higher heel = more stress on quad tendon…can lead to some initial tendinitis if you don’t “break in” properly or start with heavy loads before giving the knees time to adjust to new angles

Much easier to stay flat-footed with these, than with my VSshoes. (although one of my training partners prefers the VS because of the higher heel)

just wanted to share my purchase. bought a pair of ristos. originally wanted a pair of wan hoa’s but they were sold out.
although i paid a bit more than I wanted to (120), i’m happy with the fit and feel. they’re a bit narrow in the toes so if you have a very wide foot, i wouldn’t recommend them.
i wear size 12 in nike free and these shoes fit like a glove.
i’m gonna break em in and slowly incorporate them into my squatting.

I just started oly lifting and I thought about getting these but all the lifters at the club and coach say they are shit and fall apart after a few weeks of hard work.
I am getting the Ironwork III from dynmo-eleiko for $205 AUD delivered to my door (so $25 more than the QWA ones). I also found them on ebay from Britain for $185 AUD delivered. But the club has delt with teh dymno-eleiko before so I am willing to pay the little extra to make sure everything is going to go smooth.
