kai is always wearing bdsm masks onstage… it makes no sense that he didn’t wear something like that while doing his fruit porn… but like the mystery IFBB pro, I believe that he will never be Mr. O because of it

I really hope that heath doesn’t win either, IMO he’s a little shit. IFBB bodybuilding is essentially the only sport that you can’t cheat in, but he still found a way (standing a good foot and a half in front of the line)…

I honestly believe that Kai is the better bodybuilder, but politics in bodybuilding is too influential… and it always has been when you think about it (columbo vs padilla etc). it is only when the level of development is SO unequal that justice is served, for example Ramy vs Martinez in Martinez’s home turf.

Completely agree here. I have met both Phil and Kai. I met Phil before he was a big shot right when he was a brand new pro. He was very nice and took a lot of time to talk even to me for about 20 mins. Met him last year again and he was an absolute prick.

Kai has always been very humble and nice. Even now. That goes a long way with me.

I certainly don’t disagree with any of this. The whole AAS usage thing is something that comes with the territory, no questions asked. And as you alluded to, obviously many of the guys trying to make it, they have to do G4P, erotic stripping videos and all of that good stuff. As you said, the fact is that Kai has allowed himself to be caught, twice, with two fairly explicit instances of this behavior. While no, the face of Bodybuilding will never be akin to “Tom Brady as the face of the NFL” (etc.,) as Walkway says here:

It’s the things he does outside of his actual presentation and physique that’s likely going to cost him from -ever- winning the title. But, I don’t want to sound negative. I think Kai seems like a really cool and genuine person, and I hope all the best for him. It’d be a crying shame if the videos really did stop him from making a serious mark in the industry for years to come.

Cutler is also seen as a good rep for the sport. He doesnt do weird stuff, he is sucessfull in life and buisness wise and sorry to say that but, he is white

I certainly think that, because of the above mentioned, he has a good shot at re-caliming his title.

He has looked awesome recently, but in the past he’s looked unbeatable the weeks leading up to the show and then not quite delivered on game night, so we will see.

Honestly if Phil wasnt so oiled up i dont think he’d stand a chance against Jay, not today and not 3 years ago. The judges dont seem to mind though.

Anyways ive always liked Jay, he’s not the most charismatic guy ever but Phil is just the most boring fucking O winner i can remember. Nothing against the guy but i really want to see him dethroned.

I am still pulling for Kai, lost hope or not. I’m concerned about him coming in dialed for competition as good or maybe better than last year. If he’s off like in 2011, he won’t even be considered. There was some drama about his prep last year, so I hope whatever he does, he’s good to go this year.

Jay is popular for numerous reasons. He will come in looking good, but I find it hard to believe he’ll do better than 3rd - if honesty judged. I can see him getting another Sandow though if the judges do their thing - as they’ve been doing in recent shows. As far as Jay’s clean record, there are rumors out there that some of the “cleaner” guys as far as outward actions are just as dirty, you just need access to a pay site to view it. Me personally, I’m entirely jaded at this point of the sport. So much disgusting stuff is and has been done for these guys to make their gains, and its tough to even follow it.

I’d like to see Ramy come in and win also, the winning interview should be quite short (unless a friend translates for him).
