Damn, I said it before, Jay’s coming to take his title back! Gonna be one for the books, no doubt. I actually played around with my new Smart TV just to make sure I’ll be able to stream it full screen. Even got a couple of buds coming by to watch with plenty of ‘cheat foods’ (got a pal who’s not only a Pro, but a professional baker -lol)
(I’m not commenting on the side topic anymore. The sport is what it is, and with zillions of threads on countless forums discussing it, I doubt Heath needs anyone on here defending his honor)

^ wow. he looks fucking nuts…

New thread on this topic please. I’d be interested in what type of meals he prepares based on his “other profession.” I’m always open to hear about new recipes/ideas, especially from those who excel at the culinary arts.
Jay looks impressive, there is no doubt. I think he’ll place ahead of Rammy - because of conditioning. It will be interesting to see who is wider.
There is one person that hasn’t posted many photos (well 2) that Jay lost to in 2011 - when he was in comparable shape - check the same “bathroom” pictures from that year - Phil Heath. Jay will make top 3, will probably (sadly) beat Kai if Kai isn’t in proper condition. Victory, though, I can’t see happening unless its politics. But it’ll be a good showing for him to retire on - unless he pushes another year - which is doubtful.
Here is (I believe) Jay’s daily intake 1 week from the O:
Breakfast
6 egg whites
8 oz buffalo
Cup of coffee
Meal 2
8 oz potato
10 oz tilapia
Asparagus
Post workout shake
NitroTech
Meal 3
Asparagus
10 oz tilapia
Meal 4
10 oz chicken breast
Asparagus
Meal 5
10 oz chicken breast
Asparagus
Meal 6
6 egg whites
10 oz chicken breast
To make this easier for those too lazy to number-crunch. That’s about 460 grams of Protein, 50g Carbs, and 85g Fats. Assuming Jay is coming in at 250-260, you can do the math interpolation for his macro ratio to prep for the biggest show in bodybuilding. You’re welcome! (I’d double post this in the 6 Meals/Day thread, but its Olympia related, and my thread :-P).
Well, Aceto’s online today saying that Jay’s looking even tighter than in those last few pics that were up on FB and a few other sites… Definitely good news to read, as my buddy Phil and I are both really pulling for Cutler, probably because we’re both ‘older’ competitors ourselves, and none of the younger guys in the gym seemed to give Jay any chances whatsoever during the last year.
3 more days til prejudging!

He’s trying to both piss off and sexually impress his girl friend?

Natural diuretic
Pulling for Mark Dugdale to do well in the 212. John Meadows has been working with him and Dugdale has been using MAG-10 and Plazma and from pics I have seen, seems very much improved. Good luck, Mark!
I wish they’d televise some of the events, like the 212 Showdown & Mr. Olympia Finals. I hate having to check online to see who won and takes out a lot of the suspense and climax. Do you think they’d get much ratings?

Unless they start drug testing, no network will touch this with a 10 foot pole. You should be able to stream it live I believe.

FYI, they stream it every year on bodybuilding.com I thought you guys all knew this? Happy to share. It isn’t the best quality, I think its 720p, but you get to see the show for free. Its been said that if they were to make it a Pay-Per-View and step up the quality to modern day, they could make abuck, but whatever. Take what you can get.
And yes Asparagus is a natural diuretic. I’m sure he’ll do the synthetic ones too come show time/2 days out.
I like Jay, but want Kai to win. I want Wolf top 5. I’d be elated if that would happen, but it probably won’t.
It’s funny, I usually like to browse around the threads every time I’m on T-Nation but being so close to Mr. Olympia and seeing this thread constantly updated just seems to have sapped most of my curiosity about other topics (bodybuilding-related and GAL) and made me only attentive to this thread.
I’m glad someone is enjoying it!
3 more days or so. I’m pumped. Aside from going to the gym (which should be totally motivated as I’ll be going right after the shows with Japan time), I’ll be home streaming this and munching some diet friendly snack(s). Probably yelling at Phil for crossing the line, crying because Kai didn’t come in condition, and lol’ing at the posedown when Rammy makes Branch look like a midget and Phil look narrow.
Going to be good times!
