His video series is actually what made me a fan of him. He has a respectful air of cockiness about him. Gave me a new perspective on him. I will still be pulling for Kai but I do hope that Jay makes Phil look like a little bitch.

Is there nothing out there showing what Heath looks like at the moment?

Haven’t seen anything since his four weeks out video

This one?

He looks damn good here. Pretty dry as well…

I certainly don’t dislike him, but he also isn’t funny at all. But from the vids of pro BBer I have seen, almost none are. AV is ok in that regard, but not as great as people make him out to be - might partly be a language issue though. However, Jay at least doesn’t come across as a full-blown retard as some other pros.

ps: Not sure what it is about his body, but he doesn’t bring the wow factor imo.

Can someone explain to me what they see when they say Phil is so pumped of full of oil? I’m sure a lot (possibly all) of the pros use synthol to some extent but I just don’t see the tell tale signs that point to synthol abuse (no definition, no striations, no contraction of the muscle, etc.).

Dude, I have asked the same question a half dozen times and I just don’t see it.

Internet gossip mill.

If you repeat it enough times, it becomes true.

if you tweet it, it becomes law.

Bullshit rules the world now.

Heath as always been one of my favorites so maybe that’s why I give him the benefit of the doubt, but I agree with all the above. Maybe there are some spots touched up for symmetry but I don’t think he’s walking around with it oozing out his pores as some suggest.

Wow, jay looks insane! That Kai pic is crazy too. He looks massive.

It will be interesting to see what the judges value more this year, size, conditioning or proportions.

I’m pulling for Jay 1, Kai 2, Ramy 3

Personally, if I’m trying to see it, in certain photos I can understand how some people might believe it. In other shots, not as much.

I think a lot of it comes from the fact that use of SEO isn’t a new or unique approach anymore, and you can find plenty of competitors (IFBB and high level NPC) who will attest to their own regular use, and even on occasion be willing to point out the difference visually. Sure there are plenty of people who think they know what they’re talking about because they can parrot what they read somewhere, but there are also a lot of people who have a much more reliable knowledge base to what high level competitors actually do, and with the internet the way it currently is, you can find their thoughts fairly easily.

On the other hand, it could also sound somewhat believable to simply argue that someone with as relatively narrow a structure as Heath can suddenly put on so much size in specific areas, while concurrently creating a very round and bulbous looking degree of new muscle. Especially when you compare his look in recent years to that of later day Flex Wheeler, who well after the fact admitted to a good degree of reliance on pumping the oil.

Is it true simply because some people read it on the internet and repeated it without their own real knowledge of matters? Nope. Is it not true because someone read it on the internet and disagreed with it? Nope. Is it true because Phil admitted or denied it? Nope. Bottom line is that the judges are going to judge what they see presented visually in front of them. If someone looks completely filled with air while other competitors are just as big, shredded, and actually present a dry looking physique, then that’s what they’ll judge accordingly.

This is a much better way of stating what I think about this issue lol

Maybe it’s just his genetics (doubtful) but the round “puffed up” bulbous look is what I think people are referring too with their SEO talk.

Nope, no synthol at all…

Olympia Duck Face

Not to make a big synthol debate, as I belive at this point we’ve crossed to many bridges to be judgmental, it’s about the package presented on the stage. It’s to late to start getting upset at what they did to get there.

Anyway what I do know about synthol, not much, but there’s a high level fellow I know, and I think a few things have changed from how it was used before #1 they’ve found ways to use thinner gauge needles than they used to don’t leave marks. #2 guys now use longer needles to get oil under muscle belly, so it’s not as noticable. #3 they now start injecting 1-2 months before the show, it’s a slow process to expand the muscle, instead of starting days before a show (sloopy)

I could be way off base from expierance with one high level athlete. I’m sure Olympians have more money, and knowlage to take it even further. i do believe these are 3 reasons why it’s less noticable thanit used to be.

Did not intend to hyjack, just to put an end to synthol talk, and get back to olympia predictions (mabey should have a seperate synthol thread) Anyway I hope Jay comes back better than ever, because I’m a sucker for a comeback story. Same with Victor, and Branch, though I think they’re time is over. 2cents

just because flex wheeler was the only one who ADMITTED it doesnt meant that the other competitors didnt use it /used it less than him.
