Sandbag Shoulder Carry: 1500 steps x 200
Farmers’ Carry:
200 steps x 65 in each hand
300 steps x 55 in each hand
400 steps x 45 in each hand
500 steps x 35 in each hand
Another solid Weighed Walk Monday. I have been trying to add 100 steps each week on the shoulder carry. Today I added 200. I was able to go 400 steps my first set, and 300 my next set. I have not done Famers’ in a while, so I changed things up a bit.

Thanks gents. I think I am done until after the worlds in November. There are records at the higher weight class that will be easier for me to beat at the lower. I may go for 10 more after that.

It was a short one. 40 minutes and out. I am dialing my deadlifts way back and starting from the ground up. I have been stuck for a while. I think it is a combination of weight loss and a little overtraining. I have plenty of time before November.

It was a short one tonight. I had a Zoom meeting after work. I’m kinda proud of myself. The first two sets were 400 steps.
If you want some alternate arm work, look at “Garage Strength” on youtube, specifically July 23, 2020 and April 27, 2021. That guy’s a wrestling coach.
