There’s always time to sell tickets to the gun show.
Your posts never give an impression of being tired.
Oh, I get tired. The older I get.

I was pretty tired this morning, so I thought it was about time for a deload anyway. My wife and I spent two days on the road car shopping. We made it up to Spokane and got a great deal on a Cadillac XT5. We also visited both kids.

Sandbag Shoulder Carry: 1100 steps x 200
Sandbag Bearhug Carry: 500 steps x 200
Sandbag Suitcase Carry: 100 steps x 200
I was able to add 100 steps to my shoulder carry from my first week at 200 pounds. I even had two longer sets of 300 over my normal 200 steps per set.
1700 x 2 foot average stride (probably conservative) = 3400 feet, i.e. 2/3 mile. Jesus.
New car probably ranks right up there in enjoyment with these 200 lb carries.
I don’t know. The Cadi is pretty sweet.

Nothing big tonight. I moved stuff around in the garage to the Cadi would have more room. It’s going to take a while to get used to. I got the wife to buy into a shop for my home gym.
“…buy into shop for my home gym”. Expansion plans?
Perhaps. It’s down the road. I’ll probably never leave my public gym. Too any friends there.

I’m a little disappointed. I hit 425 pretty easy last time.
Well you have lost a significant amount of weight.
True. I think I need to remember that. Thanks for the reminder.

I think the sandbags are making a difference in overall strength. Pulling 600 from the rack would not have happened a year ago.
Great work with 600! I mean really great.

Sandbag Bearhug Carry: 500 steps x 200
Sandbag Suitcase Carry: 100 steps x 200
I keep going a little further each week. I worked in two sets of 300 steps on the shoulder carries this time.
