I have been out out of the game a few days with life and work. This felt nice.
“out of the game a few days”= Arm day.
Right.
I have been doing more direct arm work, the past…2 months I’d say-inspired by your Gauntlet posts. Definitely added to my pressing power, and elbow stability ![]()
CT’s gauntlet really provides a great pump.
Still waiting on pics…lol
Ha. I remembered when my workout was over. My mind has been other places lately.

My heart really was not into it. My father is coming home on hospice. I visited with him today. I would guess he only has a couple days left. I took tomorrow off work due to an oral surgeon appointment in the morning and my dad coming him in the afternoon. I’ll try to get a good sweat in before my appointments.
Really sorry to read that. Hopefully he’s not in pain.
Thank you. I don’t think a whole lot. He has been wanting a beer. Yesterday I went to visit him in the nursing home after work. I purchased a can of beer and poured some in my flask so I could sneak it in. He took one drink out of a straw, and he was good.

I woke up at 0330 to get my son to the airport. He is spending his summer away from law school in Washington DC as a congressional intern. I then went to my parents house and helped with my dad. From there it was the gym.
I am counting 605 even though I lost the grip at the top.

It’s been a while since I did a just lift heavy stuff day. Mondays are normally for sandbags, but I was not feeling it today.
My dad passed on Saturday. It’s just real busy now, just doing the stuff that comes that. He went peacefully, and I know he is finally comfortable.
So sorry for your loss.
^Me too. You’ll remember all the good stuff about him for rest of your life.
