buddy it seems only i and u are working out hahah. ur numbers are insane though i dont think i am half as good as you are
I get off my ass and do something everyday, some days more than others. I just don’t always bother posting it lol.
I’m still working out but my hip problems and trying to deal with them has made me weak and my numbers are depressing so I don’t want to share if I’m just going to be putting ‘why I suck’ disclaimers on all my posts
What happened to your hip, Debra?
I’m not sure what I did but the trouble I’m having is they’re really tight and I’m getting pain in my thighs and lower back. I hurt my hamstring a little while ago snatching and I think it might be where it started. I get relief from rolling and using a lacrosse ball but I find I’m weakened from doing that.
I had a mysterious hip pain like a year and a half ago. Came from nowhere and bothered any squatting I did for like 2 months. Don’t know what caused it or what made it go away, but for like the first 2 weeks I couldn’t squat at all. But I never foam roll anyway so hahah to me. If rolling helps I’d do it. Better to be able to do 85% pain free then be in pain and not do anything at all yeah?

workout wasn’t going well, so decided to cut it short but do some box jumps to end it. Last set as I used my arms to thrust me up, heard a big tear in my shoulder and felt it collapse. So shoulder done for at least 4 weeks… just what i needed.
Nooooo! sorry dude, that sucks. Is your forearm better at least?
getting there, at this point it seems like labral repair is a very real prospect. Nothing like 9 months out to rehab!
At least it seems like fellow lifters here are kicking some ass!
Lol, thanks guys. I competed at 94 kg but I weighed in at 88. I just didn’t want to cut, since I wasn’t really very prepared for the comp anyway.
I competed on Sunday at 3 PM, gqartguy.
Also, I lift at Crossfit Silver Spring. The owner is a Maryland alumni and an overall good guy, he lets a couple of us lift there for free in exchange for mopping and vacuuming at the end, which doesn’t take long.
He’s got elieko bars and plates, plenty of equipment, its worked out really well.

Competed at the Baltimore Open today, snatched pretty poorly with 85, and two misses at 92. Clean and jerked a PR at 130 though, which was nice. This was coming out of not much training recently and hurting my back, so I was alright with the results today.
What class were you in? I coached 4 lifters at the meet this weekend.
Did you call him out and get up in his face?
Koing
No since I obviously didnt see him and theres nothing to call out or get in his face about.

Was feeling really god until I realised there were only 3 lifters in the 94’s. Then my head went big time. Fear of bombing out and missing the podium at my first nationals was scary. That and there was very strict judging on jerks and my lockouts are debatable.

All in all 240 total, qualified for next year, and 3rd. As an added bonus I got to meet Koing, who is fast as f0ck under the bar on snatches and an all round nice guy.
Koing- don’t front squat heavy, it’ll ruin your joints
