Those two are from the Australia Pro. He always comes in looking good in my opinion. His quads are pretty freaky for a tall dude!

Completely agree, his quads look freakin crazy.
-Hmmm. RÃ?¼hl has no chance in hell (unfortunately). Just totally outclassed in shape and his triceps mess up his whole physique. Back also doesn’t do the trick.
-Centopani’s physique just doesn’t fit the O stage yet… And I don’t think he’ll ever look all that pleasing to the eye… He’s already extremely heavy and yet he still needs a lot of extra size… I wouldn’t want to be in his shoes, health-wise, when/if he gets up to the right size.
-Cutler… WOW! What happened? If he can get his prep right and keep his waist like that, shit, he’s suddenly on the map again. And with that physique I could honestly see him winning… Opens up a very interesting possibility: Cutler has been a Mr. O before, and him retaking it could suddenly fit very well into the plans of the powers that be… You know, I almost want him to win after seeing those pics…
-Rockel will be overlooked as usual. Shame, he generally brings a complete package and looks great, but there are simply going to be too many guys who have the edge on him…
-Dex… Well, he’s the defending champ… I haven’t seen new pics of him yet. I dunno… He has a great, near-perfect physique, but… Just not exciting enough compared to some of the other guys there? I don’t think he makes such a great Mr. O. No freak-factor involved (not overly strong compared to guys like Ronnie etc) and not enough character maybe… But he could still make it… I kind of hope that he doesn’t win, though.
I like his physique, but yeah… He’s been denied a win for so long, until last year, and now it seems to me that the new generations have caught up already…
-Victor. Dunno. Short triceps 
Has to tighten his waist and I dunno… Unless he’s made major improvements then I don’t think a win would be warranted at all. Used to be the favorite for the last 2-3 years or so, but now I wonder if his time isn’t already over in the face of the new opposition… Still, possibility of a win due to politics.
-Heath… Mh… We’ll see… Would be the first Mr. O in ages with what one would consider great/semi-overpowering guns.

Haven’t seen any recent pics… There’s the ugly chance that he’ll end up like Levrone, runner-up or top 3 for ever and a day until he gets tired of it. But maybe he’ll win, too… This O is really difficult to predict. Could win due to politics.
-Freeman… Don’t think he’ll win. He just doesn’t quite strike me as Mr. O material… Cool physique and all of course, but yeah.
-Samuel… No win here. Wouldn’t want him to win, either. May dominate smaller shows, but imo shouldn’t even be in the top 5… Of course he could end up surprising people, I mean, even Block-Waist-Jay has managed to turn himself into a very possible candidate within practically half a year.
-Greene… Definite Candidate as he’s the new mass-monster on the block, and he has a lot of character (though his whole strip thing and … gay-looking posing routine may be a reason for the powers that be to deny him a possibly-deserved victory… After all, he’d be enforcing the whole “bbing is gay” stereotype…).
Can go either way… Political (and deserved) win OR he gets dropped on his ass… Again due to politics…
-Dennis James… Been there too long, doesn’t quite cut it… Too many great guys around so he will probably be ignored.
-Wolf… His usual great taper, but that’s all he’s got going for him imo. Top 10 but not top 3 unless there’s going to be some divine intervention.
-Kjellstrom, nah. New and physique doesn’t cut it yet.
-Darrem Charles is too small. He’s always been too small. Sorry Darrem. Been there forever but won’t win unless the world turns upside-down and all planets are in perfect alignment.
And then only if all other competitors suddenly died form spontaneous combustion or poisoned oatmeal.
-Yamagishi… No traps, tris have too little sweep… More of a curiosity than anything else, though he still has a cool physique…
-Troy Alves looks weird. narrow head/neck? Nah. Not mr. O material.
-Warren… Back doesn’t cut it(not the only part, either), proportions/lines don’t really fit, cool guy but I don’t think he has a chance. Then again, the O is not supposed to be a beauty-pageant, right? 
-Haidar… Haven’t seen any recent pics and I don’t even remember what he looks like at all. No idea.
Ok… This has got to be the overall best and toughest Olympia line-up… Am I glad I’m not working as a judge there…
Possibly favored by politics:
-Cutler (and if he ends up looking as great at the O as he does in those recent pics, I wouldn’t mind him winning)
-Dex (but I don’t think he has any chance on his own… Doesn’t cut it anymore, at least imo)
-Martinez. Hmmm. Still, not much justification for a win compared to several of the other guys.
-Heath… But the specter of Levrone (hoho) is looming over him…
-Wolf… Though that would be pushing it. Still, it’s a possiblity.
-Freeman… Well. Sort of.
-Greene, though then again maybe he’ll actually be hindered by politics.
Against all odds Jay has actually become my favorite. WTF. I never really liked his physique…
Good luck to all those guys. Hope this won’t end up like that show which Dave Henry lost because he had 1 less striation on his glutes than English and, of all people, Dugdale… Despite the clearly superior physique.
No idea about the placings, Dex was imo a relatively safe bet last year, but this year is just too stacked and the old guard is, for the most part, outclassed by new guys.
Also too many guys which could pull a political win/high placings from which supp companies and others have a lot to gain…
I’d actually say that, based on current pics I’ve seen (haven’t seen all guys though)…
- If the high and mighty decide to have the mass-monsters-with-suprisingly-nice-waistlines battle it out:
Kai Greene and Cutler (if he doesn’t mess up) could really be the ones battling for first place.
rest of the top six will probably be Heath, Dex, Wolf, Martinez or something along those lines.
If, on the other hand, the trend set by dex’ win continues, then Heath would imo be the most logical choice for the first place.
Still… With Kai on the map, I wonder… Freakiness still sells the most supps, so I’m not really holding my breath for heath. Damn, this really is difficult to call…

Jay is a wild card, he could fucking win or shit the bed, Victor could go as high as 3rd and as low as 7th, Branch will be 5-7ish, James lost to Centopani so that puts both of those fuckers in the 7-10 area. Silvio will bump higher if Dexter does well, lower if the mass guys crush it.

yes but in all seriousness i think its gonna be 1.dex, 2.kai,3.heath, ands its just a toss up between jay and victor to see who will get 4th and 5th. but your right it could go anyway. if jay steps on stage looking like he did in 06’ Olympia he will be number 1 IMO.

I’d like to see Jay retake the thrown. He recieves a lot of hate for being one of the most humble guys in the sport. He’s huge as fuck, I need to repeat that, huge as FUCK, and the only thing that brings him down is conditioning and a lot of times he peaks to early. If he’s on point he’s winning. Jay, Heath, Vic.

those photos put up of jay in this thread have completely changed my view on him and thrown him into top 4 if he doesn’t screw up his preperation it is his competition too lose imo
I agree, a lot of people including me thought he was out the picture this year but after seeing those pics, his guest posing spot and the fact hes a 2x mr olympia if he comes in sliced he’ll take it.
I heard rumors that Ronny Rockel was dropping down to the 202’s, so he may have a chance…
