Wow man that’s like a super power haha. Does your strength tank when you go on a cut? I’ve noticed, for myself at least, if I’m not at or above maintenance life is a living hell and lifting goes in the toilet. I lose weight pretty easily as well (not sure if it’s fat or not, haven’t been in a deficit long enough to tell) but any time I’ve actively tried or life throws curve balls and my eating is off, my ability to push myself goes to hell.
Full transparency, I thing the lighting difference between the photos makes it appear more impressive.
Strength was still going up, but I had only been training for 6 months, so guess was still making newbie gains and having the increase in the neurological aspects of strength.
I’m dropping weight at the moment and strength is sill going up, I’ve pr’d squat and deadlift in the last week.

Uh oh… weight is going down again. This was after about half a pound of water, which would put me in the 170s. I’m about back to my smallest from when I leaned out in the first one of these things.
Also, deadlifting 3 times a week with hook grip starts to suck for your thumbs after a while. When your cuticles start bleeding it might be time to de load your thumbs.
I’m down 20 pounds and my strength is still really good. Grant it I tend to do strength blocks for cutting.
Aaaay mate reminds me of olympic lifting programs when your hands hurt all the time and you just don’t want to lift ![]()

I reject the request to ban @T3hPwnisher As an older lifter I only have to watch his vids and my Test levels immediately elevate. If he goes I’ll go back to weak and soft.
While I am very aware that I am not in bodybuilding type condition I think I have finally come to the point of getting”depleted”. Feeling flat, negotiating with myself on whether it’s worth getting up to do things like get water. And then I eat a banana tonight and all of my vascularity comes back.

That’s a good question. I guess it is all relative. Notice I said ‘older’ not specifically old. I think pwn is in his mid 30’s so I have 10+ years on him, hence older.

Apparently most natty bodybuilders (but of course you never really know if they are natty or if they’re actually doing this) do this the final weeks of the cut.
