New rule: @T3hPwnisher is only allowed to do cardio from now on
Need to level th playing field ![]()
No, I’d just feel even worse getting beaten by a guy who isn’t even working out.

Random update/confession.
I started with a cut for the first 3 months of this competition. There was a “weight loss” competition at work. I was solidly in the middle (at only 5lbs down, the competition at my office is not fierce). I had been doing a 3x10 program for the last few weeks with the calorie reduction. At this point, I have decided I don’t like cutting (who does?) and I missed lifting heavy.
I am switching stragies and started BBB 5/3/1 (I’ll add a shameless PR brag of my squat and DL maxes in low 200’s). One week of it down. Adoring the heavy weights. Today I also have extra meals from Monday food prep day that will go bad if I don’t eat them. I gotta say, I have never been so excited to eat 2 full meals of chicken and veggies. I say this as I eat lunch #1 at 10AM. There is the confession.
Growing is always better than shrinking my dude! Get after it.
On that note, boy are you all in trouble, because I’m eating “Building the Monolith” for lunch…along with some sizeable actual lunches…well, ok, breakfasts, but I have like 3 of them.
Well, I guess you can only break the fast once, so post breakfasts?
Damn, this trash talking got away from me.
I’m…hanging in there. Weight is doing good. I cycle upwards of 70-80 miles a week. Retaining (and gaining) strength, but that’s really not the point if I’m not doing well mentally.
The Monolith continues to be built
I better get some flippers, because I am going to be too dense to float in Deep Water at this rate.
6 weeks to go.
I’m not likely to push for more physique improvement in these 6 weeks. We all draw our own lines balancing a variety of factors, and my balance is ready to tilt away from an appearance focus at this point.
Whaaaaaaaat!? Is it really ![]()
Checking in. Results after ~4 months of Tactical Barbell. After a year of dealing with a nerve injury and now in my late 40’s, it’s been great to get back in overall shape again.
I can’t wait to see the before and after pictures side by side this year. So many people seem to have done great. I feel like the standard this year could be the highest so far.
Honestly mate I said it before in your log but you look unreal. Fucking awesome job!
No doubt. There are some guys who stepped up from good shape into really good shape, but I think the awesome thing is seeing more guys go from kinda-okay or, let’s say, not-so-good shape into solid shape.
From what I’m seeing, I think there’s more of that this year than ever before.
WARNING: MONOLITH UNDER CONSTRUCTION
CAUTION: MONOLITH CROSSING
Those would make great signs for your gym lol
So that’s what the great runner looks like. That’s a high bar for the rest of us to reach when we get in our upper 40s. ![]()
That vein on the bicep is as big a one of my fingers!
For something a little different, it’s seeing this type of picture that keeps me motivated. Our puppy was wanting to get on the 4 wheeler so I thought I’d try to give him a ride. Candid shot that I didn’t know my wife took until she texted it to me. If you see results without posing and in clothes it makes it feel more worth it. And damn my arms are looking lean.
It ain’t pretty but it’s bigger than it used to be

You should put some clown make up on and christen yourself The Yoker .
Seriously @kleinhound man that yoke is stoked
