I’ve blocked all posts from him that have an image. It’s a reminder of what I could have accomplished if I actually put real effort in and I don’t like that feeling.

Do your hands & forearms hurt when you do this? I was doing some conditioning a few days back. Front loaded carry into axle clean and press (a touch lighter than that 110lb). And my forearms hurt. More than I imagined they would. I was actually taken off guard. I’m guessing it normal as the bar is so big in the hands. And over time I’ll adapt. But I wondering to what extent it can. Its only a small muscle group.

No hand or forearm pain. I’ve been training my grip since about 2005 with the Captains of Crush grippers and various other things. That said though, I’m using a thumbless grip here, which can also be the factor. If you’re using a full grip, you’re going to be putting some strain on the connective tissues I’m sure. I go thumbless and really get my hands turned over at the start so I can rotate into place and catch at the top. Saves on transition time too.

I put pwn on “ignore” for a while for similar reasons. Thought I was the only one

I’ll have a look at thumbless. But TBH I think I just to to put up with it for a while and I’ll get a better grip so it wont hurt.

Not entirely. I find ignoring the forums during times of gluttonous binges helps remove my guilt and shame.

Three weeks to go on the gain phase… Then it’s time to intentionally cut weight for the first time in three years!

My dinner tonight was

10oz strip steak
Egg bake with cheddar cheese, poblanos, jalapenos and chorizo topped with sour cream
Advocado
And dessert was peanut butter washed down with milk

If that doesn’t lay on slabs of muscle, I don’t know what will.

Still in, not doing fuck all for diet, just eating when I can, super busy, officially up to 3 days a week in the gym again. But my body seems to be fairly okay with it.
