Circling back to say holy cow there is a lot of meat in those packages. Steak and eggs for days.

.

Pre-sliced too.

And I did not intend a pun with “holy cow” but I am keeping it.

Thanks dude. Rocket fuel indeed: fueled up an excellent axle deadlift workout.

Is the beef from the butcher section in Costco or one of their packaged things? That looks amazing and I love steak and eggs (BP-willing)

It’s a pre-packaged thing.

Fully cooked even. I ate it cold while I was unpacking it and prepping it. VERY versatile. I could see making tacos and phillies with it, and it’d be great for omelets and burritos too.

Sport climbing or top rope only? I’d love to have access to a gym/climbing center combo. But I make due with what I have

Out - freaking - standing. That’s on the list for my biweekly trip!

They have sport/lead climbing, top rope, even auto-belays, if you lack a belaytionship. I am very spoiled.

I buy the exact same stuff. Really good and so convenient. Makes awesome sandwiches, too.

I was gonna say - throw that on a hero with melted mozzarella and some hot sauce. Looks amazing. And expensive.

I have yet to find something at Costco that isn’t a massive bargain

It ain’t cheap when you first look at it ($20). But it is delicious. And you get enough to probably make 5 - 15 sandwiches depending on how much meat you use. So it ends up being a bargain.

There’s also the value of saving cooking time and/or reducing the risk of poorly cooking the meat

For grass fed, cooked and sliced, it comes out ok. I just hardboiled 15 eggs, so now I have my breakfast ready for my next 5 early shifts.

Look at me food prepping. You all are in danger.

I’ve made enough “not really cooked” steaks to know it’s really hard to undercook a steak to the point of danger.

But that’s also why I only ate beef for YEARS. Everything else was too complicated.

I was actually refering to overcooking the steak, resulting in wasting a good piece of meat
