Up at 530, drank 1/4 gallon milk with metabolic drive out of the gallon like a boss, did my normal pre-work routine, ate 2 breakfast sandwiches on the way into work. Hitting the cottage cheese in about an hour, then 3 chicken breast for lunch.
I was 209lb before bed last night, so I’m down a couple lbs already somehow? I have an easier 5’s week this week, then going HAM next week. THEN the fun begins.
I’m the same. Everyone talks about stopping caffeine for your sleep, so I did it. I was wide awake at 2 AM for 2 weeks and finally said screw it and started drinking coffee again.
FTR my resting pulse is like 55 and I’m borderline hypo-tensive.
Exactly this! I was getting up every hour on the hour for a while. Caffeine is up and sleep is much better.
Just letting everyone know you should probably just give up now. I got an axe for Christmas and have discovered my new favorite cardio. Plus my beard is getting long so my after pictures might be in flannel.
I was up at 2, because I had to pee and my nose was running. Slept off and on until 9. Good news is the cold is making it easier to eat less, so down 1.6 lbs since the photo was taken
I have you all completely beat; I woke up with DOMS this morning after doing almost nothing yesterday on my big first day back to the weights.

And I used the rower in the middle of my walkway for a good three minutes!

How do you do eggs in an instant pot?
I was up at 5 this morning…meal prepped, took care of my boy so my wife could sleep more and have been painting a house all morning so far. Gonna have a good sized supper and hit a push session tonight when my son goes to bed
There’s a ton of recipes online. I typically just look one up. It’s something like 5 minutes on high, 5 minutes natural release, then quick release and put in water.
Up at 8am, did a 20 min light run then ate junk food all day, after eating junk food last night, 3 out of 6 meals in the last 36 hours have been pasta and cheese, snacks have been chocolate and sweets (candy).
I weight 1.5lb more than the start and I’m definitely fatter.
I’m going for the transformation from moderately inshape to completely disgusting obese dude, complete with diabetes.
I keep thinking about lowering the sweets/junk but then the Mrs put toffee yum yums on the shopping list and I had to buy them, I was powerless against the suggestion. It’s also my daughters birthday tomorrow so breakfast is going to be pastry based. Maybe next week will involve less sugar.
No workout/ diet trumps this!
Do you just mix your Green Superfood in water or do you try to cook with it? I don’t mind the taste in water. I put it in my eggs, but it doesn’t mix well. I’ve tried to mix it with other foods, but it sticks to the bottom of the pan. I still like it and I’m about to buy another jug.
I just throw it in the shake.
I fully intended to go for a run after work yesterday but I ended up sitting on my butt until I felt like going to bed.
Just finished my first run of the year 4 hours after hitting legs. If I can pull off this double I have no excuse for skipping a short run on non lifting days
